A few weeks ago my K30 developed the dreaded aperture failure. Just under 10,000 shutter clicks. I saw on here in a thread dealing with this problem, a mention of a gentleman/ company in California that was offering to repair the problem with a one year warranty and a reasonable price IMHO. He repairs the problem as opposed to replacing any parts. He says it is, or should be a permanent fix.
I emailed him with a few questions and after receiving the reply I decided to take a gamble and sent him my beloved K30. He was extremely good at keeping me informed of the receiving, repair and shipping back of my camera. He found an issue with my K30 while testing it. It shoots about 1/2 stop underexposed as compared to his. I explained that that body has always done that when compared to my other Pentax DSLR's. I actually like it that way.
At any rate I have my K30 back and it works as good as new .
If anyone is interested in having their camera Aperture block repaired I am adding his web site information . It has all his information along with price for repair. Pentax Camera Repair - Aperture Control Repair
One other thing the Disclaimer. I am not affiliated with this place other than being a satisfied customer

That is the down side of the K-S2. I use my smart phone but would prefer a wird remote at times.

Here's one from a few nights ago. This lens is reasonably sharp with plenty of light . Not so much in low light . this was taken in a light rain overcast and sun setting

Now there's my car. I wonder if they would let me take it for spin? Does that say GTO on the door. So if you turn 3M around you have Me. Just some fun from an old Pontiac fan. Thanks for sharing this.

As I recall it helps equalize the exhaust back pressure so as to even out the power of the engine

I use AWB on rare occasions but as a general rule I set it manually for the lighting I am in.

Thank you. . It looks very interesting. I am thinking of trying to revive my K30. If I can, it might be a candidate for this.

Looks a lot like a Contax mount the lever is between the 2 of the flange prong areas instead of aligned with one of them.
Looking at photos of Vivitar lenses it appears they list the mount in the made in Japan area. Vivitar lens made for Contax cameras looks a lot like your mount and is marked K/AR from what I can see. If I remember correctly Yashica bought out Contax

I agree they are over exposed. Remember the moon is actually pretty bright. My guess looking at these that there is a filter on the front of the lens.. I have had the sme results when I forgot to remove my filter whileshooting night scenes

On the bayonet mount lenses( I don't use any M42 mount lenses so not sure about this with them), you need to go into the camera's menu and select allow aperture ring. I am not sure why Pentax does it this way but they do. I use several old/ legacy glass on my DSLR's

I have had labs do some messes to my film. one lab scratched a coule of rolls similar to the one you se in your shots here. I have had them stretch the developing and screw it up that way as well. Honestly tho I think your problems here are camera related A good CLA should remedy the issues Your camera can cause the scratch as well as a a lab can and more often than not it is the camera not the lab. The dark areas I have to agree with the others it is the shutter system in the camera. whether it is something you can remedy I am not sure of. That is why I recommend a trip to Eric. He gives free estimates and is highly recommended here
