The Aperture does not close when mounted to the camera till one of 2 things is done either the green button is pushed for light measurement or you press the shutter release to take the picture. Till then the aperture stays wide open

Nice shots.I would love to go there.I had a 68 GTO. It had hide away lights.Seemed to always be a cyclops. one vacuum hose or another always had a leak traded it for a 70

I think I would like the KP. The only draw back and only reason I haven't pulled the trigger on one is I have gotten so used to a fully articulating screen of the K-S2. I am afraid I would moss it.

I print a few hang even fewer. Save some toss many. I ma an amateur so not out for anything but my enjoyment It is about time to go thru and toss some that I saved that I don't want to keep anylonger. I save some thinking maybe they will get better with age. But alas it never happens.

How often, sensor cleaning?

Out of 6 DSLR's I have only had 1 sensor cleaned once. That was because there was a piece of dirt/r dust That would not shake off or blow off.

I purchased mine new in Alaska around the time our first was born. 78 so I purchase it in 77-78 the serial # on mine is 7782845. it came as a kit m50/2 and a JCpenny 135mm lens., eye cup roll of film, a case and assorted cleaning wipes etc. I still have the lenses camera and case. All still in working order.

Wow good find. I still have mine from 1977-78 It came with an eye cup mounted there. The eye cup is long since gone.
