Im in an alternative metal, punk, rock mood.
Tool, A Perfect Circle, Seether, Apocalyptica, The Offspring, Weezer and some Flogging Molly when my Irish blood gets going.

I had LASIK way back in the day, 1999.
It was horrifically expensive but my insurance covered it and I had one of the top 3 docs in the country.
So...even tho it was scary, I did it, (I was a young 20 something and reckless LOL).
Best decision I ever made!
My hubby got his done about 3 years ago, he loves it too.
But, its not for everyone, I would never tell anyone to do it if they weren't comfortable.

Southwest is pretty permissive, if anyone ever uses them.
I fly with them most of the time since they fly non-stop to Denver.
They let me fly with a carry-on luggage bag, laptop case (Ive got a 17" Dell, so we're talking as big as a briefcase) and my camera bag. So maybe they consider the laptop bag my "personal item"? who knows.
I don't carry a purse most of the time, so that saves me there.
But, Ive seen ppl carry on HUGE duffels that I thought for sure would not fit in the overhead compartments and the attendants don't bat an eye.
Will take note not to carry a tripod.
Guess I'll have to borrow one for my next trip in a couple months. =/

Perhaps I'll get decent enough shots after a year's time. hahah
I've been playing around with PP a lot.
While I love to take photos and want them as good as possible SOOC, Im an artist by trade, so I can't leave them as is. :hmm::lol:

NothingInCommon, Ive heard the Canon cheap 50mm isn't too bad, I don't think it has IS, but it should be a lot of fun to play with!
Don't feel too badly, all I have is an inexpensive K100D, with one prime and two inexpensive zooms.
One day, I say....one day...
