Sell current K-1 for around $1,450 give or take add the $550 to what you get for selling your current K-1 and have a brand new camera with a new warranty for about the same price. Unless of course, the used price for the K-1 drops significantly after the new release.

I would list all three items in the same listing in the marketplace and give people the option to buy all three as a kit or buy individually. You can probably make a little more selling them individually. As for pricing, check other marketplace listings for the same items, the lens database to see what people have paid and/or ended ebay auctions to see what they have sold for recently.

Syracuse, NY (United States) Item Description It’s been awhile since I’ve listed some items but have sold many items in the past with an excellent record. Haven’t used these items much, or at all, since acquiring the K-1 over a year ago. All prices include shipping CONUS with insurance. Will consider other shipping destinations for an extra shipping fee. Prices negotiable on some items as I am trying to balance between my costs and guessing the current going rates. All items in excellent condition unless otherwise stated. Additional photos of all items may be viewed at: Pentax items for sale | Flickr Pentax O-GPS1 Astrotracer Excellent condition in box. Didn’t use it often when I had it and now built in to the K-1 so I don’t need it anymore. $100 USD SOLD https://www.pentaxforums.com/accessoryreviews/pentax-o-gps1.html SMC Pentax-DA* 16-50mm F2.8 ED AL [IF] SDM (Converted toscrewdrive) With caps and hood. I have version II of this lens that I am keeping. $200 USD SOLD https://www.pentaxforums.com/userreviews/tokina-af-235-3-5-4-5-20-35mm-version-i.html SMC Pentax-FA 50mm F1.7 With rear cap and hood (I will have to check if I have a cap to fit the hood). So my friend accidentally knocked my K-1 with 60-250 attached off a picnic table, which bounced off the seat on to the ground. Nothing internally appears to have impacted the body or the lens but three of the rods for the articulating screen came out of their tracks. I'm surprised they came out due to how durable they are but I'm wondering if there is a specific way to get them back in their tracks. My concern is that it may require a lot of force to get back in but wanted to check with you guys to see if there is an easier solution before I try to force them and cause any further damaged. Attached is a photo in case I haven't described the problem very well.
I appreciate any help anyone can provide. Also, if needed, is there anyone that might be able to repair this, for a fee (on my friend's dime), of course....DCShooter??

This is the first attempt at a 3D printed baffle. The black plastic the printer uses came out glossy so I spray painted it with a flat black. I'll tray to install it tonight to see if it fits and how well it works. Attached is the printed version next to the original. ---------- Post added 05-23-17 at 07:57 PM ----------
So the printed one doesn't fit all the way in. I'm guessing due it not being cylindrical (a limitation of the printer) it doesn't fit around the rear element like the original does. Could probably print it thinner and maybe slightly wider, but tolerances are pretty tight. May try to have it printed with modifications. For now the foam insert is going back in and seems to be working extremely well so maybe will just keep it in. Would like to get a printed one to work to help others looking for a potential solution.

Can't believe I didn't think about that. I work at a University and can get in contact with a professor that has access to 3D printers. I will look into it tomorrow as I already have the baffle out. Hard plastic may work better (long term) than the foam cylinder I have in the lens now.

I was unable to locate a company that sold Pentax spare parts in the US, which is why I looked elsewhere. If anyone knows of a source willing to sell parts in the US it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the information. I reached out to the company to get a total price and see if they will ship to the US. Price for the baffle is reasonable, but will see how much shipping affects to overall value. In the meantime I removed the current baffle and made one out of some black foam I found at a craft store that seems to work really well.

I was planning to do the FF mod to the DA 60-250 but would be interested in obtaining a spare baffle in case I decided to revert the lens back to it's original state. I read somewhere the baffle is $25 but can't find any information on how to purchase it. Hoping someone here may have some insight. I appreciate any support you all may be able to provide. Thank you.

I currently have an FA 300 that is somewhat soft wide open, the glass throughout the lens is excellent. I originally bought it to replace my cracked front element on my F 300 but ended up getting the DA 300 instead. So I have the F and FA both in storage, waiting to do something with them.

I feel your pain. From Liverpool, NY as well. In 2008 I did manage to snag a great find in Liverpool. A Pentax-F 50mm 1.4 mounted to a film camera with bag for $60. I ended up re-selling the lens. Still have the camera body though. But that is the only decent option near Liverpool I've seen since 2008.

After reading a recent review, the thought came to mind as to what lens people have mounted or will mount first on their new K-1. I apologize if this has already been addressed but I haven't seen it (I imagine it has at some point). For me, it was my 31 Limited (after taking off the aftermarket hood).
I've been so excited since, that I enjoy shooting any lens on, whether FF or APS-C. The images look spectacular either way (even in crop mode), even compared to my K-3, which I will be selling in the near future.
I know that the K-3 has more room to crop with a higher resolution, but I am so pleased with the images from the K-1 that I don't hesitate to get rid of the K-3. People complain about the "mushy" trigger of the K-1, but I have no complaints, seems so much quieter and responsive. Maybe it's just me or my K-1? Either way, I am in love with the K-1 and am good with the fact that it cost twice as much as the K-3. I will likely be posting some of my DA APS-C lenses for sale, even though the market has dropped. I still have an K5IIs (with a defective rear dial - no big deal - only cost me $100) for wildlife due to the crop factor.
I am in the stages now of sorting out which lenses to keep. Just ordered the D FA 28-105, so we'll see.

What about the Sigma 12-24 Full Frame lens and the D FA 24-70. Combined it would be a similar price as the 15-30 alone. You just lose WR in the Sigma and maybe some sharpness, but it goes ultra-wide on FF (similar FOV as the Sigma 8-16 on crop).

There is the Sigma 12-24 that no one ever seems to bring up in these discussions about UWA lenses. I like mine better than both of the Sigma 10-20s, plus it's a full frame lens, which works well on the K-1!

I ended up getting an awesome deal on a DA 300 f/4. It wouldn't focus and I used a small screwdriver to turn the screwdrive thing on the lens mount a little and it has worked ever since, the SDM works great. Not sure how they are connected, maybe just the focusing in general got stuck or something. But ended up with a fully functional 300 f/4 for $400. That helped reduce the amount of Advil I needed. (And just to be sure, I converted it to screwdrive and back to SDM, just to make sure that option was still available down the road if needed).
