DISABLE TEST MODE not listed anywhere.
I did however run the tests listed, nothing to lose, 1; CAPTURE/SYSTEM TEST, 2; AF TEST 3; STRINGS DISP TEST. Nothing looked to be obviously wrong.
Then I reset all the camera settings to default and tested the capture modes, all seemed to work correctly but then the DEBUG MODE error(?) returned to the back screen.
So, the camera seems to be working but still in DEBUG MODE thing, which i presume is still means it's not right yet.

Hi Steve. This may be relevent (?).
After i upgraded the new firmware the first time, months ago, a new folder appeared on the camera under Menu called TEST MODE.
As i'm a bit slow on the uptake i have only now thought through what changed on the camera and it was this TEST MODE mode.
The MODSET.474 didn't change anything just now though.

Since installing the updated firmware, v1.13.23.30, for my K7 i have been having trouble with the shutter sticking open.
Also the message DEBUG MODE and when connected to my pc the message is then PC DEBUG, is showing in the top left-hand corner of the camera screen.
I want to return to the previous firmware version, how do i do this?

Thanks to all who replied to my post re K7 update.
Problem solved with a re-download and resetting my settings plus turning on the A ring setting.

I'm using Sigma digital lenses, no analog.
The back screen view(after mounting a sigma lens) shows 100iso, the F_ _ _ flashes and no changes can be made to any of the settings.
None of the boxes on the screen are high-lighted.
No reaction from shutter button when pressed.
Debug mode appears.
All settings available(those that don't need to have lens mounted) can be altered when no lens is mounted OK.

Hi All.
Since updating my K7 firmware to 1.13 none of my lenses work.They all worked before the update.
I get Debug mode and when I tether to my PC I get PC debug mode.
Any ideas on what I need to do to fix this, I now have a useless camera.

Hi all,
I am trying to use a photo/video grabber on my asus laptop flat screen to connect to my K-7 via usb and phono connectors but am getting 'Screen flicker', any ideas how to solve this problem as i really want to use my laptop as a 'Live-view' monitor?

Problem sorted. Basic newby stuff-up, I didn't have the correct setting of Pal to Pal.
