I am new to Pentax. I bought a K-5 to take on vacation in March. It is a great camera. I suppose only time will tell, but I hope it is good for the technology in the K-5 and promotes the Pentax line.

I just bought a K-5 to take to New Mexico with me next week. I have always used Canon film cameras in the past. So, Pentax is new and DSLR is new tome. I look forward to discussion as I get with the program and learn how to operate my new camera. I hope to meet all of you as time goes along.
I work full-time selling new class 8 trucks. I also do woodworking for a hobby and some playing around in the yard.
I don't know anything about DSLR and less about Pentax.
