The auto bracket only sets the exposures for you but you have to take the shots manually, have the cable switch and remote F and i prefer the cable switch, unless you are the one on the picture.

this is the info on ricehigh's website i think he forgot certain parts.
RiceHigh

About Me
I have been a photographer for 30 years and a Pentax (AF)SLR system user for 20 years. I own several Pentax film and DSLR bodies, along with an original Pentax lens collection of F, F*, FA, FA*, FA Limited, FAJ, DA, DFA lenses, from 16 to 300mm.
I also dont use this equipment I don't really know what photography is about, most of my equipment are still unpacked, not used I will be selling this items soon on ebay so i can pay off my Canon 5D which I don't use also.
I have been a photographer for 30 years and I have not taken any photos yet, I also put up other websites reviews and complain about them on my blogspot a.k.a Pentax equipment and how much i think Canon 5D is my soulmate and we will have full frame children together.
I also think that af speed and live view functions is more important than a detailed good image quality, So for all the Pentax fanboys you will hate me for this but K20D sucks. Pentax is inferior! you should buy a 5D.

I'm not here to insult you Ricehigh, but I'm not even sure if you owned a k10D<-- remember i said I'm not sure. but today i actually played with the k20D with my k10D with me and there is no difference at all with how it feels, and with you said for a person who is starting clean they will not be shelling out this much money on a dslr, people who are starting new pretty much will not spend 1300+ on a camera alone thats for sure, and to be honest man i hope you don't become a sales person for a camera store cause you would prolly be one of those people that will hand a beginner a d3 or a 1D Mk3 because they said they are looking for a camera. Ricehigh there is one thing that you said about the K20D on your blog which is. Table 4:- Overall Image Quality (IQ) Grading = Well, I think the last grading is redundant, after we have gone through the results of all the above key performance aspects measured. :-)
I think Overall Image Quality is the most important thing in photography, get the word Photo in there. Give me a pentax with a crappy auto-focus (i will manual it) and a 1-2fps shooting with the best image quality around i will take it. If Pentax wants to join the fps competition they can but why would they? To compete with the 2? for what for bragging rights? Last time i checked the lens is the most important part in a camera. and pentax has prolly the best lens ever created.

It seems like everyone is all about the 10-12 or 12-24 lenses and the 50-135. those lenses are for sure will be considered and is on my wish list right now. the portrait lens is really tempting. i could grab a 50mm 1.4 for 199 and have it ordered. i can grab a 77mm 1.8 or the 30mm 1.4 Sigma lens. but the 55mm sdm is really holding me back. WHY WHY is it taking so long to get here :(.. i think i might end up buying the FA 50mm just in case the 55mm takes to long.
Again thanks a lot for everyone who voted. and thank you for the advice.
Regards
Pentaxian

Well i have narrow it down to 2 choices.
the k20d is out of my head.. maybe the the k30D when it comes out.
the fact hat 55mm 1.4 will not be out anytime soon. i think i will be going with the 50-135 SDM and a wide lens or maybe fisheye.. and if i can find some limiteds i would grab some. here is another question which is a better lens for sharper and better color. does anyone know if the sigma 30mm 1.4 is a good lens?

i appreciate all the replies.. and has been really helpful, the $1500 dollars is what i have now, i should have been more clear, i would prolly have more so the 2 sdm wont be a problem its the fact of availabilty, like i am really really waiting for the 55mm sdm 1.4 to come out like thats a for sure buy, but i know it wont be a while, but basically i think it really comes down to 2 lenses i guess the wide and zoom and of course i want both to be fast :D.

Saving up for this summer for sure, a lot things will be happening but what should I grab? im scratching my head with this one it sounds stupid but tell me what you think.
looking at a $1500 budget.
1) Buy the K20D (I do have the k10d i got on sept 2007 & the k100D)
2) Get 2 Lenses But which one? i want the 55mm SDM but i know that wont be ready by summer.
so 16-50 & 50-135.
3) i need to cover this areas and i hope you guys can give me some ideas and recommendations.
Wide,Portrait,Zoom. I only have the kit lens 18-55mm a 50mm manual f2 and a 70-300 sigma 35mm lens.
any help with the lens would surely help.
Thanks:D

You have to upgrade the firmware, the newest firmware for the k100d supports SDHC cards.

Well I just received my Camera Armor today and I just wanted to let you guys know how I feel about it for anyone who might be planning on buying this product.
Pros:
- The material is great! you do get an extra grip when you have it on the K10D.
- LCD Protector is pretty clear.
- Lens mount is very roomy and does not make it hard to switch lens.
- Memory Card is still accessible.
- If you have the eyecup magnifier it will hide the diopter so it wont get in the way.
Cons:
- My experience everything is a little to tight espeically on the power switch i had to cut up some rubber so it will be easier for me to turn on.
- Even though you can still press the buttons like menu, function, etc its not as easy as pressing it without it.
- the switch for Manual, continuous and single focusing seems pretty hard to access like the power switch.
In conclusion the Camera Armor for the K10D seems a little rush to be honest, when compared to the nikon and canon camera armor the buttons and switch has more room for you to get into, I will be using this armor someday but not for everyday shooting. it will be good for trips or any shooting where you will be running a lot i guess. if you like to press the buttons on your k10D then it will take you longer thats for sure, its good for automatic shooting. The Camera Armor is not a must have for the K10D user but if you are really into not damaging your gear then this is good for you.
Overall 6.5/10 it will be be a 9/10 to be honest if wasn't for the hard to access switches ergonomics is important to me.
