Great series, Norm.

In the second last one, is that a sun dog off to the right over the road?

Sigh, yes, end of an era. And to think that they (Kodak) invented the digital camera.

Attached is a quick scan of a collection of 35 mm film box tops I uncovered today, when cleaning out my old darkroom area.
Most of these are from the 1970-1980 period. What a blast from the past!

My 2 cents, it's a great place to visit.

If you enjoy hiking and biking, there are many wonderful trails to explore.

Check out the following biking site;

One of my favourites for swimming is Providence Bay.

Enjoy your vacation!

Unfortunately, trying them is not an option for me. I do not have the film, developing equipment, other chemicals or camera anymore.

Any other suggestions?

Or should I dispose of them as hazardous waste?

I was cleaning out some cupboards and found VERY old developer. I have not done any B&W in a LONG time.

1. Ilford Microphen. Part A and B stored in separate glass jars. But I don't know the size it will prepare, since I discarded the original packaging years ago (>30 yr!)

Question; is it still good? Jars appear to be well sealed.

2. GAF Vividol in foil packets, says enough to make 16 oz.

Question; is it still good? Foil pouches appear to be well sealed.

3. Ilford Perceptol in original packages, size to make 2.5 litres.

Question; is it still good? Original plastic bags appear to be well sealed.

I looked at the Site Map page and inspected the links there, but could not see any numbers.

On mine the lens hood is integrated, and the filter thread is 72 mm.

The one reviewed here,

Vivitar 17mm F3.5 MC Wide-Angle Lens Reviews - Vivitar Lenses - Pentax Lens Review Database

has a 67 mm filter thread.

It is a lens I enjoy using again and again. I've owned it since my film Spotmatic days.
