Thanks Pat, funny you should mention that. My uncle mentioned that card to me within the past 6 months and I forgot about it. Then I saw the giveaway here and said "Oh yeah. that card" I think it would a killer backup card.
To everybody else thank-you. I'm still looking up info on the cards. I never gave them much thought until I actually needed them. And I usually track tech stuff since I'm a geek.

I'm looking for an sdhc memory card. I checked the forums but didn't see much that was recent. What would be the fastest card that I could run in this model and out of curiosity what is the fastest this camera can transfer info (perfect world scenario) to the memory card. I couldn't find any info around.
thanks,

thanks all.....
I didn't even think about my profile name. I've been playing video games for an extremely long period of time. You always get more points for making the "headshot". Zod is a take on "General Zod" from Superman.
But for this forum...... I don't do portraits :)

Just introducing myself. I purchased my first Pentax SLR back in Spring 1996. Used it for a number of years til I went digital. I've been looking to get back into "photography" rather than just "documenting". When I was a kid (I'm 43) in the 70's and 80's my Dad would somewhat show me how to use his Mamiya/Sekor 1000DTL which he had bought new. I really want to get off the point and shoot stuff, not thats its bad I've taken some really great shots with my Sony Cybershot 8mp DSC-N1. But everybody here knows that it is limiting and that I am craving a bit more out of my shots.
I guess it was an annoucement about a year or so ago I happened to catch on one of the tech sites (Engadget) that mentioned that one of the Pentax DSLRs could handle older lenses. That lead me to look at the Pentax DSLR line and really opened the door to what was available as far as lenses go.
So I am looking at getting a used k20d and a Pentax branded m42 adapter so I can use my dads old lenses and have fun with some of the cult m42 stuff. Generally I'll be shooting macro stuff like orchids and outdoors shots like architecturals on buildings and landscapes.
