Sorry for that not-work safety... Couldnt stop it. :)
Dont be fooled by his heart-like, innocent eyes. Here's Crouching KILLER!
No major photoshoping here, just curves, cropping, and stamping the blood stains of the victims.
By the way - Happy New Year!!! :) |

This beauty SV remind me my S1. Have a look:
Fully working S1 with Leica's Metraphot lightmeter sitting on top. Meter is working, but reads about 2-3 EVs lower, so its more for show, than for real need of metering.

Here is my one (with working AF 35-70) compared with black ME siting on the winder. Autofocus in this lens is terribly slow these days, but its nice to see (and hear) how it works: vrvrvrvrvrvr vrvrvr vr vr. VR! vrvrvr vrvrvrvrvrvrvr vrvrvr vr vr vr vr vrvrvr vr. VR! Beep! :) |

Hello -
as usual I ask: how to improve, what you'd do better, what to pay attention to the future? Oh, and dont pay attention to the frame, if you dont like it. I like them a lot (sorry for that).
On the picture there is the side wing of the award-winning Museum building. Just like the whole body this wing is made of raw concrete and glass, and covers only a small part of the whole exhibition. In the building visible from the back (the one with the round holes - windows) there is the office and Visitors Center.
Any comment or any idea of making better photos are very welcome. Thnaks in advance! |

Thank you so much for kind words... Istanbul, the 100 miles long city and second biggest in Europe is a rather strange place, you could easily love it or hate it - but there really is a lot of beauty colours all around and everythere!
Hope to show you some more in a few days. Stay tuned! :)

Thank you Sailor for your kind words... From the beginning, when I bought these shoes for a costume party 'Mafia of the '30' - I thought, how to photograph them (but other than that I am quite normal and rather sane). I tried some colours as a background, and suddenly I saw, that simple white and black is the best with such a subject! I also tried to shot both of the shoes, but single one is more intriguing and better - as the wisdom says, the simpler, the better.
So, one-legged guy... :)
Bob - I was wondering what title to choose: 'the guy' or 'the man'... The guy won, but the man is also a good title. :)

Thanks a lot for your time and all of your advice...
@ baro-nite - unfortunately it was a short trip to Switzerland, and all the time there was a light wind, hence there was no hope for a calm water.
Well, Ive got a different opinion - for me all the weights in the frame are nicely balanced. But I care about other opinions.
Well, I liked the sky and liked the water! I have a couple of shots from that place, but somehow I liked that the most, mayby because there is a lot of sky and a lot of water! :)
@Nowhere Matt - thanks for your advice. I'll try to crop this frame in a few days...
I use to work digital on Nikon, but maybe this view of my Pentax shelf allows me to post my pictures here (sorry for the poor photo from the mobile, better ones are in my Album) . |

@EyeSpy - about innovations in architecture... Its nice, that you like some of my pictures, but take a look at the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao (Spain). That building is about 8 years earlier than Concert Hall in LA, so the innovation in the later building in LA is quite debatable. What doesnt change the fact, that the Disney COncert Hall building itself makes simply a stunning impression on me.

Hello, Everyone!
I know that you celebrate 4th of July in U.S., but in Poland we have a normal working day then. Hey, but why not take a fireworks show on the occasion of the ordinary, hard working day? :)
Frankly speaking, the fireworks I wanna show you took place about two weeks ago - not even remember too much of what occasion, and it was very nice. So I clicked, I can show these 'my' fireworks from the unknown occasion together with yours, on the occasion of 4th July.
Here we go! At the beginning landed a large, shiny UFO, and then it was just nicer!
Thanks for watching! And thanks for your time, if you leave me a note, any comment or so...

Hi!
Today I'd like to show you some of the photos I made during my trip to US - photos of the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, the building by Frank Gehry. I've read about this building and wanted to see it, and I did as you'll see. Unfortunately the main stage room was closed to visitors - there were preparations for a new spectacle - but the outside and other interior of the building was spectacular.
Outside the building is finished with metal plates, which causes that block changes colors depending on the weather and time of a day. At a dawn is all blue, silver during the day and in the afternoon and the evening gold. These colours, together with those strange, crooked walls, creating a really big impression. I am not surprised that this building is slowly becoming an icon of LA.
So, the outside:
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
And, let me show a few of black&whites:
6. thanks to my wife for posing :)
7. see the photographer?
8. the arrow :)
And one from the interior... 9.
And one 'detail', if one could call 'detail' the half of a big wall. Don't be afraid, although I have more pictures, this is the last one for now.
10.
Thanks for visiting! As usual - dont be shy! - any comments, ideas, ways to improve, etc. are very welcome.

First of all, I try to remove dust and tiny particles with a strong jet of air from a rubber bulb (the bulb has to be free of powder). Also, the simple wiping with soft and repeatedly washed cotton T-shirt will do no harm to the front lens, and after that any tiny leavings are easy to blow out.
And when the front element is very dirty and blowing or wiping doesnt work, I figured, that good result gives the very gentle wiping the front lens with a soft sponge dampened with diluted, not aggressive detergent, then sponge off a possible foam with a damp cloth, aid then wipe the lens dry. Of course, be careful that no water gets inside, the sponge should be damp but not dripping.

I also like the yellows, frankly speaking I love this warmth and joy! This is my favorite color of the background, the pictures look merrily, warm and full of happiness. :)
But I understand, that not everyone has to like the same. For those who dont like the yellow I have a 'funeral version':
But, belive or not - I still do prefer the first, 'Springtime version'! :) What about you? Any preferences, or not at all?
