Thanks, I did come across the ravpower on amazon & it looks like it may do the trick coupled with a flashdrive (I'd prefer to not carry my seagate external with me to avoid any 'accidents').

Hi everyone,
Next month I'll be traveling for 3 weeks for two rowing competitions (World Rowing Masters - Sarasota & World Rowing Coastal Championships - Victoria, BC) and I won't have access to my computer while away.
I want to be able to dump pictures I take on my k3 to an external drive and hopefully be able to view/share them from my phone while I'm away from home. In particular the ability to view/share will be handy for keeping people updated with pictures of our training rows & races.
I've seen quite a few options including wireless hard drives with sd slots built in, to much cheaper options. I already have an external drive that can be used in some form.
Any advice or experience is greatly appreciated.

Braved the bugs to capture a sunset with a small cloud burst of rain in frame. Loved the colors. Shot in reveral film mode.

More testing of my 200mm f4... f8 appears to be the sweet spot so far.

I'd forgotten how satisfying it is to use a fully manual lens for some things. It's a great little lens.

After getting these I'm looking at either replacing my da* 50-135 or getting one of the limited primes.

A similar thing happened to me with my beloved 50-135. I know exactly when it happened too... my own carelessness *facepalm*. I'll have to wait until I come to the states again this summer to send my beloved off to the lens hospital.

Caught this green lizard moving through my palm blossoms on the hunt for a breakfast of ants... These guys are surprisingly hard to capture despite being such slow movers due to their camouflage.

Good morning everyone, recently acquired the 17-50 2.8... still messing around with it. For me the most startling difference between my other pentax lenses and this one is the cooler colors. Also I really wish it was better at controlling flare.
