Just 2 questions. Do you have the hood for the lens and the spots on the front of the lens in the third picture is that dust on the exterior of the lens or inside and if exterior could we get a clean pic of the front element?

Hello, I am just curious what range of focal lengths do people have that still use primes? I currently have a 28,50 and 70 I am thinking of picking up the 35 and hoping for the 135 but does the 35 seem redundant?

I have the K50 and the issued battery is a 7.4v with 1050mAh (7.8Wh) rating and the replacement batteries that I bought are rated at 7.4v with 1600mAh (11.8Wh) am I going to do damage to the camera if the specifications are not the same.

Don't know if this is the right place to put it but it's easy pay so you don't have to pay all at once

Is this lens full frame capable ? Wondering if it would work on a film camera.

I have to say I am a Speyside region drinker myself. Aberlour , Cardhu, Macallan or Glenlivet . The oddball out is the Oban from the highlands.

Just remember that every book that amazon or b&n has in electronic form has to be stored electronically, ask Adam how much storage costs are these days. You buy a book once with these vendors and you can download them to as many devices as you have registered with no limit. You can download any book you have ever purchased without rebuying it. The system constantly keeps you current reading position on any book you are reading on any device and can update any copy on any device you have. There is the intellectual copyright that is owed to the author for royalty as well as the cost to the publishers to create the file. I just don't understand how people can be so defensive about a picture they take and at the same time expect to pay nothing for and authors work.

I have to say it has been a pleasure getting to know everyone here and I will miss the interactions. Gene I think we have agreed on some other things before but admittedly not a heck of a lot :) but our disagreements have always been civil.

i cant talk for Gene but i can tell you that one reason that i am questioning my continued support of the forum is that i dont feel that as somoene that is supporting the this website even in a small way that my desires are being heard at all. i know that i am not a mod or anything like that but i would have felt the people that are site supporters could have at least been notified about the section being closed and even asked for their opinions about it. i have to say to me it just left me with a sense of we have no say in it even if we contribute money its decided by a small group of people without a larger sense of input from the forum as a whole and that has made me rethink continued support. i dont have to financially support the site to be a lurker after all. I felt that since i was an active posting member that i should support the forum but as i have said before the vast majority of my posts have been in the P&R section of this forum

I just wanted to say that I will miss this little section of debate and crazy loyalty to ones beliefs. I have been here since the section opened but am not the most prolific poster and have grown to look forward to posts from many of the regulars i tend not to agree with the majority here but i love listening to them argue. I have felt like a minority here (Republican after all) but for the most part have been treated with respect and hope that i have been respectful to my fellow Pentaxians. I will miss this forum as it has kept me informed about things i wasn't aware of and gave me a place to talk about politics with people as passionate about it as i am. Farewell to the experiment it has been a fun ride while it lasted and to the regular posters its been good sparing with you .

That's right because there are nothing but completely sane people in the Democratic Party you run sanity tests on them every day and make sure that there can never be a member of the party that anyone else may think of as "nuts". Besides didn't you already make a thread saying you we're done with this party of the forums yet you are still here posting wouldn't one think that behavior as a little

Some would say all the more reason that laws should be made by cool heads away from the passion of an event. Passion has been used to drive this nation to war it has been used to curtail liberties before and now it may once again be used to curtail your rights under the Constitution.

Why as a site support do I not belong here as I come here and my most visited section is the P&R area ? I don't post in other areas because when I did I got flamed by all of my fellow forum members and being nothing but a snapshoter and not a serious photographer. I lurk the other areas but will never post there because of the this attitude towards "non serious" photographers. I will miss the P&R section even though I may not have the same political views as 99% of the other posters they were still for the most part entertaining to read and argue with on occasion with. I will admit I will rethink my continued support of this website as a result of its closure if I am going to nothing but a lurker on the site why support it? Just my two cents about this.
