Just wanted to post one more shot this morning. I'm testing sharpness of the 02 lens (I think it's pretty good). This is my baby, Chester. I have a ton of pics of him, my other dogs and other stuff on my website - www.pbase.com/kimberlyj. I'll add a Q7 gallery soon.

I've been on the forum for a while and have been a previous Pentax owner (Kx, K3 silver edition, original Q). I recently picked up the Q7+02 kit in yellow and the Q7 Premium kit from Adorama. While I was not pleased with the original Q, I really like this Q7 with the right lenses. This cam is definitely not for the pixel peepers - I have a Sony A7 for that - but boy, it's so much fun and I love the fact that I can fit the entire kit in a large purse or the supplied Pentax camera bag. The image quality is pretty good and very close to my Fuji X20.

The fly was taken with the 01 lens (cropped) and the flower with the 06 (Lomo effect added in PSE). I have to work on my web image editing skills. These images are very sharp on my 27-in monitor :)

Thanks for posting. This is a great capture, showing the action capabilities of the Q. Off topic... What is the symbol next to the red arrow on the traffic light?

Jack,
Excellent! Thanks for the extra info, really appreciate it. I am THIS close to buying the Q again. Just waiting to see what other goodies are announced next month before I make my final decision.

Barondla, thanks for the confirmation. The only other item on my wish list is an attachable EVF (that can be used with all lenses). At times it was a bit difficult to see the screen in the bright Florida sun. The ergonomics of this camera fit my hands very well. With the recent announcements of new cameras, hopefully the Q prices will drop even lower.

Hi Jack.
I've been following your posts with interest, so thank you for posting! If available, can you please post the exif data for the image with the white SUV? It's image IMGP0313. I think you've done incredibly well with this camera and I'm interested in your settings for motion. It looks as if the SUV was in motion, given the surroundings.

I had the Q kit when it first came out (01 and 02 lenses), but returned it prior to the price drop and firmware update. Now I'm rethinking my decision.

Thanks in advance.
Kimberly
