First shot reminds of something you'd see in a Batman movie, I like.

I think the figurine may be in focus, but the reflection and ceramic texture are making it hard to tell. Thanks for the input.

Thanks for the comment. I couldn''t figure out how to get proper WB with the D50, but I would agree with you.

My mother is on a a dlsr course and I went over to give her a hand with some assignments. These are some of the shots that I setup and took. (D50 w/kit lens, excuse the dirty sensor, I used her camera): |

Thank you for the kind words.
This is what I believe may be the cause, not 100% though.
Thats an interesting observation. Now that you mention it, I do see some sort of resemblance.
Thanks. It took a while to figure out how I wanted to capture it, but I think it came out how I saw it. I have a few more pictures that I may upload later on.

Thanks for the kind words. I'm not too sure on why there seems to be a transition from the top to bottom. I'm curious to find out.
Touche, lol. However, they are now gone from their natural form forever.
Thank you. The texture is what really caught my eye.
Thanks, I would say the first is my favorite as well.

Awesome series. You really captured it well. Photos like this remind me how lucky I am to live here in Nova Scotia.

Thanks guys. It was VERY bright and dusty in the room for the first 2. Not easy to get a decent picture. I used a 16-45 for all of these shots. All of these pics were taken on a whim, no real setup or picture in mind. I really apprecite the input though. I really need a new monitor. If I had one, I'd definetly do more PP.

Mickey - Thanks for the input. I plan on going back to the same spot to get some more photos. I did try to get a higher speed shot, it just didn't come out the way I had hoped it would. It may have been the time of day.

Are these two things compatible, and if so how do you operate the remote?
Thanks.
