The camera shops in Chinatown are mainly tourist traps :)
I will avoid buying any electronics items in the area...other things are not so bad

There are quite a few Singapore guys here in Pentax forum (including me)..
Generally, if you are looking at the new DFA lenses, US will be cheaper than in Singapore. Any lenses you have in mind? Maybe we can advise you on the price easier..
On the must shoot locations, I supposed most tourists in Singapore will be shooting the Marina Bay Sands, Garden by the Bay, Chinatown
The pentax community do organize gatherings once awhile so maybe you can join in one if the chance arise

at 50mm f2.8

i would say that at 135mm, this is the only focal length that we can really use the lens on k1 although i did take another shot at 115mm which only shows very slight vignetting after some pp
at 115mm f2.8

not much difference at 135mm for f2.8 and f8..the vignetting clears up quite well after some pp

Actually DA50-135 is usable on ff at 135
taken on k1 with 50-135 at 135mm

hmm...i just saw that also..this was one of the last few shots that i took that day so i cant really confirm that..i have to wait till the next time i shoot before looking at it again...

i dun have the DA40 so i cant really comment whether the 20-40 can replace both DA21 and DA40...but when i got the 20-40...i did try to sell my DA21 but there wasnt any takers..so i decided to keep it for now...but still i cant see myself keeping both DA21 and 20-40 in the future..so most likely DA21 will go if a buyer show up

pentax 31 is one of the best, if not the best, lens that Pentax had made...even for me..if it really boils down to just owning just either the FA 31 or HD 20-40..i will still choose FA 31...but then if i can keep both lenses then why not...for me..the HD 20-40 is good enough even tho its not the best :)

i do have a 21..lets see if i can find some time to do a comparison over the weekends...
