Thank you.
Thanks for the input. I have also used external flash but the camera became so much heavy. So with the fact that I never use a tripod, pop-up flash becomes my first choice.
I will try another set up.
Thank you.

I find this thread is superbly amazing as I look back from the first page. There are a lot of styles, macro, landscape, portrait, moon shot, bubbles, water droplets, you name it, that show the power of K-r.
Thanks for the complimet edgedemon. I'm sorry I didn't post my reply long time a go.
Welcome abroad Ezra James... and congrats to you Jeremy. I wonder will Ezra be also a Pentaxian? :)
Finally here are my attempts to shot macro using my K-r and SMC-M 100mm/f4 Macro, an adorable classic lens. Oh, I almost forgot, I also used Macro Extension Tube.

This is way beyond a newbie. Amazing captures. Mostly, my favorite is the second one. I love the the view and the color. The pro style...
CMIIW, are you using DA15 hellfire? If yes, damn I envy you, for it's my dream lens :). If not, damn I envy your skill... :)

Agree :)
Here is the shot that took last night. Stayed very late until 5 am, slept for 2 hours, and went work.
Forgive me if the result is not that good. Still learning a lot of things, including Photoshop.

Wow... 1200? I wish I have a chance to be that extreme because as for now I could only reach 600.
Btw, it's here, the TC. I grabbed the package from the mail man (said thank you), took scissors and brutally unpacked it. :D
I hope I can post something later on. Wish me luck.

Amazing. Thanks for sharing Rocket.
Tonight here in Indonesia and some other parts of the world, there will be a total lunar eclipse. I've ordered a Hanimex Teleconverter 2X and will be paired with my 55-300 to capture that moment. But it's still on it's way. I've checked the tracking number, and I suppose received it yesterday. I'm still crossing my finger, hoping by this afternoon I received the package.
I'm planning to use my macro extension tube, if something bad happens. Do you think it will work out?

Thank you very much Bill.
Wow, it's always fun to find the other color. It was my first time in Singapore, so I had no time to explore more. Well, the only place that I think had different color was China Town.

I have third party AA battery holder (adapter) and battery replacement. Two weeks a go a had a chance to use them. I bought 4 non-rechargeable lithium batteries and they were twice last longer then the battery.

Wow... more people are joining this thread with amazing pictures. We are truly proud owners of K-r.
An early picture after I had my K-r on January on a trip to Singapore.
Edit: After a while, I think some part of the Merlion statue (especially at the bottom) is a bit over exposure.

I assume you are editing the color isolation Swapnil. Correct me if I'm wrong. It is nicely done.
I love the detail of the moon Elisha. and with using only DA 55-300? That's just amazing.

Thank you for the compliment Bill and yes I used a tripod. I put it in the river where the current was a bit slow. And you are right, 13 sec plus the current can't create a very clarity in the foliage.
I'd be careful next time. Thank you.

This beauty has controlled my mind and soul completely. A couple days ago, I dreamed of capturing the beauty of Ang Kor Wat with this lens. Well, I've never been to Ang Kor Wat nor I ever touched the little jewel.
I'm making my way though to purchase one. Wish me luck.

Hi K-xblaze. Thank you for the warm welcome. Besides the body color, I find that Pentax produces pictures with amazing color even with their second class lens. Well you can imagine if it combines with the *, limited lens.
