Thank you everybody for guick and very knowledgeable answers! So radiation is not a problemn in this case. Do you have any views how best to get rid of this yellowish hue on the lens. The seller said to me that if you put the lens on a window sill for a couple of days this would clear the hue. I know that UW-radiation would do the work, but through the window? Does anybody have a good arrengement to get rid of this hue?

Hi!
I just bought a beautiful Asahi Pentax Spotmatic with a Super Takumar lens (55/1,8). The camera shop said that these lenses are treated with Thorium and are somewhat radioactive. Does anybody know should this be a concern for your health?

Hello All!
I just bought a beautiful serviced Asahi Pentax Spotmatic and thought this site would be perfect start learning how to use it and what kind of gear goes well with it. After a period of taking pictures digitally with Nikon D80 this is more fun.
