超解像は、SRユニットを利用した解像感向上技術で、1ピクセルずつずらして4枚撮影
することで、Foveonと同じように1画素でRGBの情報が得られる。色を類推する必要が
ないので、偽色や解像力の低下がなくなる。完成した画像は画素数は増えないが、デ
ータ量は4倍になる。見かけ上の解像感は1.5倍から2倍になる。手持ち撮影は厳しい。
ミラーレスは小型化できるが、Kマウントのユーザーにシステムの変更をしてもらわ
なければならないのでハードルが高い。
フルサイズ機には複数の世界初の機能が搭載されている。価格は、同業他社の同クラ
スのフルサイズと大きくは違わない。発表は2015年中。
DAレンズの中にも一部フルサイズのイメージサークルをカバーするものもある。現在
検証中。
D FA の単焦点レンズは、ロードマップに書ききれなかったので記載していないが、
いろいろ予定している。APS-CのDAレンズも充実したいと思っている。
フイルム時代のFAレンズは、一部のレンズで収差が気になるかもしれないが、フルサ
イズ機で基本的に使える。
開発発表された超解像技術は、Foveonのように1ピクセルですべての色情報が得られ
るということなので、この技術が発売予定のフルサイズ機と組み合わされたら、どの
ような絵が出てくるのか非常に興味深いところですね。
また、D FAのズームに加えてロードマップに掲載されていないD FA の単焦点レンズ
も計画しているということなので、フルサイズ用のレンズも結構な数が登場しそうで
すね。

pentex doesn't have in-lens stable system, so in-camera stable system is a must. However to move a full-frame sensor around is not a small deal. I heard from an unreliable source two days ago saying Sony has agreed to let Pentex use the FF sensor of Sony A99.
Again, as I posted here couple of months ago here, a much more reliable source said the Pentex FF camera will be released during Photokina this Sept.
Let's see. Anyway I don't have any interest to buy a full-frame in couple of years. It is just too big to carry around for me.

Why do so many people worry about distortion? It only takes several seconds to correct in softwares (such as the free pentax software comes with your camera).
It is much harder to design a lens that has not only little distortion, but also good contrast and sharp. But distortion is the easiest to correct. It is a trade off. If you want a better picture, get a lens with better contrast and sharpness, then correct the distortion yourself. At least this is what I will do.

Pentax 18-55mm F3.5-6.7 APS-C??????????????????????So-net???
Can't read much Japanese. Neither the creepy google English. Does it mean that the rare element can be moved to the sensor as close as 3mm?! What does "back focus 3mm" mean?
And if I understand it correctly, when zoom out, only 1.5cm of the lens will be outside the camera. :cool

I concur.
For that very reason you mentioned, I will stay with APSC, whether there is a pentax FF or not.
But of course, I know I am a small body/lens-long focal length-OK IQ kind of guy :D

K01 is larger than I thought. I don't know which lens was attached to it but I guess it is the DA40XS. It looks like the lens often hunted and could go to the wrong direction. This is not a good sign for me. If it is a lens with longer throw it may become really slow.

I probably read a little more about this lens. AFAIK, this lens is different than DA40 because it was made smaller to fit for the APS size sensor only, while we know DA40 could cover a FF sensor. When people say this lens is designed for K01 I think it is because it has short throw so the CDAF could be faster. I am very sure it can be used in other DSLRs because I saw somebody had mounted it on a K-5 and took many photos.

and very likely even thinner than the current pancakes. The rare part of the lens can be deeply inside the camera body coz there is no mirror anymore. When mounted we may only see a focus ring outside the camera...:D

I believe with such a thin body and the relatively long flange distance of K lenses, there won't be any room for SR. Instead, for the new lens DA40XS, I believe "S" here stands for shock. It will have a in-lens shock reduction mechanism.

I was a little bit surprised because Pentax seems kept the flange distance of old K lenses. I though they will consider a collapsible lens or adding a prism/mirror in the body to make the camera thinner. But at least we will get a new toy!
