Went for a drive with my wife the other day and was able to get a few pictures from the coastline. Hope you enjoy!

Here are a few shots from late in the season around my front yard. My wife and I moved to our cottage a few years ago because of the view. We love it here and I hope you enjoy the shots. It is a tidal river so you have to get the timing right with sunrise and sunset to get reflections otherwise the water is moving.

Here are a few shots from today. I thought I would give the F100-300 a go today. It's doesn't get a lot of love in the reviews but it seemed pretty good today for an in-expensive zoom. All shots were hand held.

So I posted friends earlier.....
These guys are not friends and Mr Hairy generally wins even when its 8+ Blue Jays to 1 Woodpecker. The Jays will try to dive bomb him sometimes but he's not afraid.

Ending the day with another beautiful sunset never gets boring. It changed from blues to grays very quickly though as these pictures were taken relatively close to one another in time.
