Dear choong_dc,
It's always good to share ideas with the staff forum. I understand that I can use can use the YongNuo RF-603 or C 603 N. One is more specific to the Canon and the other for the Nikon. What sets them apart are the cables to connect them to the body of the machine. Each cable has different characteristics. In my case, I have Pentax Kr, I will not use the cable for the Kr has no input for these connections. Need to worry anymore about the pin position of the Yongnuo, which must have the same pin position of the machine. That must be it, am I right?
In this forum I miss people with experience in technical subjects such as this, to disseminate information more didactic fashion, posting photos or videos on the subjects. As I have already said in previous post, I think I lack the opinion of the moderators. They could help eliminate any doubts as to realize that the opinions are not having consensus. I do not know if I made myself clear.
Many have preconceived ideas about certain brands and not accept others for unknow them.
Once again thank you for your attention and when you buy my Yongnuos, I will make a post about them.
Big hug, and sorry my english is so bad, the translation is done by google.

Dear Friend,
Again thank you for your precious attention and I understood perfectly what should be my choice (RF-603N). Often, the difficulty of the language, the explanations are confusing and just not understanding what is best for our specific case. Now was very well explained and I wish people who do not know Brazil, understand our reality. Many Cactos recommends that must be a good brand, but has very high price, not only the product, but shipping and customs fees we have to pay for our corrupt government. Is prohibitive to buy from B & H, Amazon and many companies that do not send goods to Brazil. For these reasons, I prefer to buy from China, where we do not pay freight and goods arrive normally, despite the delay. Anyway this is our reality that we hope someday change.
Thank you for listening,
Paolillo

Dear friends of the forum,
I wonder if the Yongnuo RF-603C works with the Pentax Kr I frequently read the comments of several colleagues, but none is conclusive. There is much digression on the subject, but none are categorical in guiding on the subject. Referred to the RF-603 C, but I wonder what is definitely the best for Kr Ie what really fuciona, taking the characteristics of the machine. Here I would like to make a reservation, while people are wandering the forum on the subject think that mediators should give their opinions and help those who are looking for a technical opinion. I want to use the YONGNUO brand and not Cacti, that here in Brazil is very expensive. I would like to see published in the forum a technical article that helps those who are in the same situation as me. Often I come to regret for having chosen the Pentax brand, because I see that if I had chosen to Canon or Nikon would not be here full of doubts. My will is sometimes throw away my machine and buy a Canon. Because we have to suffer so much because of lack of information. Sorry for the rant, but it's what I feel when I want to buy an accessory for my Pentax . I regret that the coordinators of the site are as silent and not guide us as we would like them to do.
Sorry and thank you if you can help me.
Grateful.

Hello Paulo Cesar!
Thank you for the comment. Occasionally participate in a contest, but I recognize that I have the minimum chances of getting a placement. I do this for sport and for fun, since bam bans fireworks with their resources to give the message. I confess I lose the will to participate to realize that, in my humble opinion, some selected photos are mediocre, besides using questionable resources to achieve amazing number of votes. The evaluation criteria are subjective and sentences are like those of any judge. It's a Russian roulette and nothing depends on transparent criteria for participants. It's a game with marked cards, so I lose hope of ever being recognized. Is it because we are Brazilians? Have you seen any Brazilian citizen of the third big world to win a contest sponsored by Pentax or at least be a finalist? I do not!
Big hug!

Desejo-lhe boa sorte!
Grande abraço.

There are several species of woodpecker in Brazil. This photo is of a kind in the southern region of the country. Very shy and difficult to photograph. I got lucky one morning when I was near the tree where it landed. My objective of 55/300mm helped a lot and made several shots with Kr I was very lucky to be prepared at that time and the right place. These things do not happen all the time. The sun allowed a great front light and the canopy could not be better. I think this photo record of a rare and impossible to play again now.

I have a question on this subject. The Cawboy NPT-04, can be used in Pentax K-r? What type of cable comes with the set and how to connect the machine body? You need to buy an extra shoe for cable connection? What would be the proper type of shoe?
I appreciate any help,
Thank you,

Dear sterretje,
I appreciate your words, but I was referring to the additional cables are often supplied or available separately to extend the functions of the triggers so you can control the camera remotely or heads of studio flash trigger. Canon and Nikon have cameraras fittings in the body of the machine for this purpose, which does not have the Kr There are shoes sold separately to fulfill this function. My question is which shoe to use one of the triggers without wire. I am needing to choose between two models: Yongnuo RF 603 RF 603 N or C1. There are many opinions and controversies regarding this issue that any lay person is in doubt.
I do not know if I was clear.
Many thanks for trying to help me.

I appreciate all the posts, but continuity with doubts and recently posted more specific questions. I would use YongNuo a matter of price. Products from China are more accessible to Brazilians. Manufactured in other countries are almost inaccessible by the high taxes we pay to our government, unfortunately. My doubts are primary and I want to concentrate on Yongnuo brand.
Thank you,

Dear friends of the forum,
I read some articles posted on the use of triggers flash by radio waves. Unfortunately my doubts remain as it was unable to clearly define what the best alternatica for my specific case. Need help from anyone who has the same equipment and have found the perfect solution.
I have a Pentax K-r machine and intend to use two or more YongNuo Flashes with triggers of the same brand. I read about the YN 560 II Flashes and Triggers without RF Wireless 602 and 603 N. I do not know which is best for the Pentax K-r. Another question is about the trigger of the machine. The K-r does not have a plug for the connection cable. I need to buy a shoe for the wireless triggering distance.
Do not know if that understand my doubts, but I would like your help. IF you need to explain more I can try. I'm from Brazil and do not write well in English, sorry.
I await contact. Thank you,
Paolillo

Yes, I know the secondary only works when the main head is up. I do not know what happens, but when I try to select the menu for secondary reflector, and the preciono teccla "set" to confirm the setting, the word appears off and no other option, as shown in the manual. I'll keep searching. What machine do you own?
Thank you,

Here is a sujestão: When a file is sent, the person who sent it should receive a notification confirming receipt. By submitting my photo I did not get the error message, which made me believe that everything was in order. I regret what happened.

The news we received this forum is that Pentax would end production of Kr. It was a big disappointment. With respect to customers who are loyal to the brand Pentax and bought this equipment, should keep this model on the market. Take him out now would be disastrous for the purchase. Especially for those who live in distant countries like Brazil, who had to shell out many dollars to buy it. Everything here is very expensive to pay much tax.
Sincerely,

Estou começando a ler o manual e me familiarizar com o equipamento.
Obrigado,
Paolillo
