Remote triggering K1

Thank you all for your responses. These are helpful suggestions. To summarize,
1. Get "dumb triggers" that would simply fire flashes remotely
2. Get another Pentax flash so they all can work in tandem.

I have ordered "Godox" triggers (non TTL). Will look for third Pentax flash option in the future.

Thanks

I have Pentax AF360FGZII and AF360FGZ flashes. Both work as expected when mounted on the hotshoe of K1. However, I am wondering about a solution to trigger them remotely while flashes mounted on stands. I use K1 in manual mode. What are the options? Thanks in advance.

ZX-L after a generation

Hello All, I have tried to resurrect my previously working "ZX-L" after more than 15 years. Got two fresh sets of CR-2 batteries and fresh roles of film. Upon replacing with new batteries "most" of the controls seem to work except actuation of shutter release. It makes a feeble machine whirring noise when shutter release button is completely depressed (auto focus works. tried with old and relatively new lenses). Another control that does not work is the date/time LCD. Anything else I could do to get it back to taking pictures? Thanks.

About the crashes, I have installed and used the software on two different machines (iMac and MacBookPro). The crashing is not consistent. It would crash on one machine with a particular photo while it works just fine on another one. However, the limitations on issues such as "color profiles", "not exporting all adjustments" are consistent across all the installations. Anyone else had the similar experience?

I have used ON1 for the past 3 years before moving away (upgraded to 2021 and then removed for a refund). It is a promising nascent product with potential to compete with big names. However, their support for "Pentax" cameras has been subpar. I was very patient and opened few tickets with them. They were admitted as bugs (reproducible with the files I supplied) but refused to fix them as "they were specific to my files" both DNG and corresponding adjustments. Also, I find it very slow and crashes very often.

Did it :)

Thank you all for sharing your experience with modification. That motivated me. I have used 3D printed baffle (thanks to my neighbor) and followed the instructions. First shots after modification looks like it worked.

Thanks everyone. I am now motivated to perform the mod by myself. I see the reference to file to print 3D baffle. However, any recommendation on getting the 3D printing done?

Hello All,

I read the instructions to modify 60-250 to FF and they are very clear but, I don't trust myself performing the mod. As I live in the Bay Area, wondering if anyone in this area (preferably) could help modify my DA* 60-250 to FF.

Thanks.
