Howdy everyone, new guy here from NC. I have always loved photography, and took the step into Kx about 2 yrs ago. Unfortunately, its a love hate relationship with it! I primarily chose the Pentax line for its support of all the lenses out there, and really enjoy the camera. I have had all the way from great, to horrible resuls from it, and it just doesnt seem to meter right sometimes, and I am sure it could be me:D. Of course, with the kit lenses, I dont suspect I should expect too much anyway. Just frustrating that my 9yo Sony DSC-V1 takes photos almost as good, and alot better in some instances? Who knows, maybe if I can afford a decent lense sometime, it'll help take better photos!
