Another vote for the Think Tank holster from me. I have pouch on the side that carries my 1.4 converter for a bit of extra reach when I need it.

I caught this bus going by St Paul's Cathedral last year. It was hand held, so great work from the Pentax image stabilisation to keep the rest of the picture sharp

I have a Sennheiser MKE400. It is a big improvement on the internal microphone, and the rubber mount means the camera handling sounds (and focus motor noise) do not get recorded. I really like it.

Has anyone had any success using their Flucard with Windows Phone 8.1 yet please?
Using the build in iE browser I seem to be able to do some things, but do not get a live view image? And currently I cannot find any other browsers, but that might just be my lack of familiarity with the windows store.

Hi
Could people let us know which devices/operating systems/browsers they have managed to make work please?
For example in my brief play last night although I could see the url and take pictures, I could not get live view. I was using a laptop running Windows 7 using IE11 (I know the manual said Chrome or Safari, but it was only a brief play!).

AF.S is the answer!
I did read the manual cover to cover, but it was a while ago.
I can see some logic in it not turning on for AF.C: if it was on for AF.C presumably it would have to occult each time the shutter opens in order to avoid affecting exposure/colour cast.

The AF Assist light is turned on in the menu. And yes I went really dark (lens cap on), but still got the same result :(

The camera's internal AF Assist light and the AF Assist LED on the AF360FGZII appear to work only in green mode. I have just upgraded my firmware to 1.01, and am sure it used to work in other modes before the software upgrade.

Yes I can count...however I am curious if people are turning SR off when using a monopod?
I am planning to take some shots in the low light of a school play and was looking to take a light monopod instead of big tripod.
Your thoughts appreciated.

For years I have been wrapping the camera strap around the lens of cameras before before putting them in a holster style bag. However I have just got a ThinkTank Digital Holster 10, and it includes a protector to prevent camera straps scratching the screen, which implies folding the strap on top of the camera after putting it in the bag.
Do you wrap or fold, and why?

Hi
I may be missing something obvious here...but advice appreciated even if it is RTFM!
Looking at the "E-Dial Programming" with the Program Exposure mode it is possible to
1) customise the green button to either "P" or "P LINE": what is the difference between "P" and "P LINE"
2) set either the front dial or rear dial to "P SHIFT": what is "P SHIFT"
PS I have just updated to software 1.12. But nothing to report yet.

A brief update: I've gone for the TT Digital Holster 10. It holds the K-5 and 18-135mm or 18-250mm without hood, or when extened with hood. And it fits my 50-135 without the hood when extended.
