I am new to Kx but it's superb!
Here is a handheld HDR taken by kx, merged by Photomatix.
(It's sharper than what you see here)
I think we aren't supposed to put edited pics here but actually it's only a merged photo!
hope you like it anyway;)

Sry for the late answer!
but thanks to others, they fully answered you.
just for upgrading, format the your memory card, put the bin file in it, press menu button while turning your camera on ! and everything will be completed in less than 3 mins.
just as others said make sure you use a set of full charged batteries.
after completing the installation turn off your cam, delete the bin file and enjoy your cam;)

I am using powerBase 2700 mAh rechargeable batteries came with an LCD rapid charger, They're very good, just make sure your firmware ver is 1.01 or 1.02 and your battery type is selected as Ni-MH in camera when using rechargeable batteries.

well, about the first problem, after reading your posts I reinstalled the firmware and it seems everything is OK :-?, really donno what was the issue, maybe I had changed something without notice.
and yes the delete is deleting at the cursor and you have to use the wheel to go backward.

Hi
well, I am new to pentax camera, but I have two small issues with firmware
first , It seems as if firmware ver 1.02 makes autofocusing harder and the images are more blurry ,and I actually downgraded the firmware to 1.01, I wonder anyone else encountered this problem?
second, when I want to change the photographer name in copyright information,
I can't delete any letter pressing delete button!(in any firmware!) Is it a firmware bug?
