Having played dozens of the older models over the year, I can tell you they are all too often hit and miss. If I were in the market for one right now, I'd consider the Johnny Marr signature model. Based on my experience with one, they are everything the older ones wish they could be. Really nice.

If I may ask, what is lacking in the quality of the prints you have already made from the phone? I may go as far as to suggest that the quality of the prints are a direct reflection of the quality of the photo files. Blowing up something too large from an Iphone file may not get you the same results as what you are seeing on a 5 inch screen.

Anyone know the US retail price expected for this body. Hopefully it is a reasonable one considering that Pentax is not breaking any new ground by putting a full frame sensor into a camera body...it been done ad-nauseam buy everyone and their brother. If it is positioned well ,then I may consider it to use with my remaining collection of pentax-mount glass.

"Almost as good for almost as cheap" is another way of saying inferior and overpriced. What will the Mark 4 bring that the Mark 3 didn't bring and why did Canon sit on something with the last release? My main point from my question is what will they bring to the table this time to justify that kind of price? Unless they break some new ground, why would anyone other than a fanboy pay a premium price for another version of the 5D?

My thoughts exactly. What could Canon bring to the table in another version of this body that warrants that kind of sticker?

I bought a little Panasonic P&S from them about 5-6 years back with no problems. Sure they suggested a service plan, but I refused and there were no problems and the price was lower that any place else on the market. That being said, I have also shopped with B&H, Beach and a few others with no problems.

I love the C5's. I remember seeing them quite regularly in my youth as they flew in and out of Dobbins AFB in N. Atlanta.

If anyone has a good, clean used 55-210 in Australia, I'd be willing to make a fair offer.

The cheap $15 ones on Ebay are fine and as long as hey allow infinity focus, which they all should, you are fine and good to go.

Ok. No worries as I thought maybe they accepted K mount as native, which was the attraction. I have adapters for my NEX-5n and they work like a charm.

Must there always be a problem to inspire improvement and innovation? Some damn good things which posed no problems are now considered obsolete because "better" replaced them. Not everything, but most.

Looks like the second graphic of the phone lacks the dual flash and the laser focus. Maybe it was in inaccurate rendering of what the final release came to be?
Anyway, cool phone.
By the way, the Final, semi-final and one of the round of 16 World cup matches will be broadcast in 4K. The future is here.

The two photos you posted of the phone, besides the color, are two different designs...which is the real one?

Great looking specs there and nice design. I wonder why you have to opt for the larger storage to get the 3g of RAM? Seems odd. (Other than a marketing thing to force you into the more expensive, superfluous built in storage to get more RAM)
LG is making some really nice phones.

I have the original lens turbo for my K mounts on an NEX. I get overall pretty good results, but sometimes the glare or reflection can ruin a shot if at just the right angle. Other times I am blown away by what it helps achieve. I definitely want to try the new model as the original hasn't left the body in months and an improved model would live on my mount. Poor man's full frame and I can live with that for the time being.
