Also considering the K5/K7 with a 50mm f1.4 prime, so it would be better to get the K-x or K-R rather than the K7 if I dont get the K5? (if that makes sense!)

Hi Pentaxians, I live in the far north of Australia, in a little place called Nhulunbuy in NE Arnhem Land.
I am looking to upgrade to either a K5 or K7 from my canon compact, I want to get a 50mm prime as my initial lens and work on my composition and intuition for better shots!
My other passions are Apple Computers, (i own an Apple Reseller Store), espresso coffee, (an Izzo Pompeii Single Group Lever with a La San Marco grinder.), and cycling, ( a heavily customised 29er hard tail with Niner carbon forks, running single speed.)
