The k7 user is very different! Those who likes K20 will feel at home [with grip attached :) ] and many other who bashed the K20 as "too big to carry around" will love it...THIS is the change of concept.

Maybe using manual lenses it shows "f/1.0" instead of "f--"

Maybe you should consider the O-ME53 eyepiece to keep the face away from the body. Usually is reccomended for people like me with big noses, to avoid smudging LCD with the nose tip, so it could do something to reach AE-L better for you.
Anyway, cheaper than a 5D

This makes sense if you think video as "soccer mom with cheap camcoder" blurry, shaky, awful, boring. But video with SLR lenses is more on the Hollywood side of things, it will expand our artistic possibilities.
Sensor cleaning, that's a gimmick :D

I think Olympus lenses needed update because they actually have a firmware [i.e. some software on it]: i don't see why a normal electric motor shouldn't be precise and fast enough.

Apart soccer moms no one will record a video longer than some minutes. Directors calls them "scenes" and that's what video editing is for. Longer clips become totally boring.
Maybe it will be capable of automatic splitting the video in many files, who knows :)

Something readable with every PC, please :D
I like opensource from kernel 2.2.13, and trust me, NTFS is rather solid. Actually, every NT* thing is very good, too bad these goodies never pass to desktop side.

Let's format in NTFS then. TThethered shooting with a laptop in the bag should be pretty interesting too ;)

Maybe K-m is going so well that DA line will be split in DA-L for entry level and WR for mid level and high end kit....then limiteds and DA* as upgrade paths.

WARNING: Not a FF rumor! :D

In those days things were quite different: Pentax was a great player [Canon was Nikon glass manufacturer and Nikon a Leica copycat]: then i think it was the first model with combined light meter, so the "easy one to use"

Manfrotto sells a special kind of device that allows you to shoot with any ISO/shutter/aperture settings you want, without any shake. Even seconds...even minutes...hours maybe.
They call them "tripods".

K-m lacks fn button, and have direct ISO/WB on the arrows. So it could be very likely.
