I recently built my collection and went with:
1 Sigma 8-16--This can produce shots unlike any other lens but I don't take so many photos with it.
2 Pentax 43 Ltd--Great lens and I find it is a good balance length wise to use for most staged shots.
3 Pentax DA* 50-135--I would have entertained the Sigma 50-150mm if it was readily available, but I do really like this lens.
4 Pentax 100 WR Macro--Great macro lens.
5 Pentax DA 55-300--Cheaper telephoto option for the time being
.
And if I don't have time to be swapping out lens I go witt he Pentax 18-135 WR as it is very versatile.
For people looking for a wide lens I can't see how the Sigma wouldn't be at the top of the list. It really is a fantastic lens.

From my research, which wasn't conclusive, I thought it was best to go with the Sandisk HD Video class 10 30 mb/sec. I think I could have probably gotten away using a Lexar Pro, but didn't want to cut any corners.
This is just the conclusion I reached based on reading through threads and checking on reading and writings speeds by various people/forums
