I just got one, and it seems excellent on the 60 - 250 lens I just realized that to use it with a K5 you should to update the firmware to the latest version. In fact, the latest version specifically notes the extender.

multiple shots with self-timer

You put the camera on the tripod, set the 12 second self-timer, race back to join the group, the photo is taken. You look at it, and someone is not looking good.

Is there a way to have the self-timer take several shots to increase to odds of the group looking good?

Yes, I did mean 70mm.
Yes, the hood did remove per your suggestion.
And all is well - filters now on all three lenses.

Many thanks for your help, Patrick

UV Filters

I'm still trying to figure out what UV filters to put on the 21, 40, and 60 pancake lenses. I'm doing this to protect the lens, but given the build-in hoods, is this necessary? The first two seem to be clear: a 43mm on the 21mm lens and a 30.5mm on the 40mm lens. Correct?

I can't seem to take the hood off the 60mm lens (does it unscrew? - I have applied pressure, but don't want to break it off). If the hood does come off then should I use a 49mm filter? If so, will the hood still fit after the filter is on?

Thanks for help, Patrick

Which Lens

Is it possible to put these lenses on smaller, lightweight cameras? The x100 for instance? It would be great to use these small lenses on both the K-7 and small, pocketable cameras for travel.

Thanks for help, Patrick
