thanks, will see what I can do when the lens is delivered. I'll find a solution and if I do and it's something repeatable I'll post it. So now I'll just have to wait.

Interesting reading guys, I myself am now having a similar “problem” I bought myself a Pentacon 4/200 with an EXA-mount (My LBA took me by surprise). The solution as described by RioRico is not an option in this case I think since it seems to be a rather bulky lens. (lying in front of the mailbox in anticipation). Have been on the search for an adapter but couldn’t find one yet, of course I started looking way later than I purchased the lens. I had seen this lens and it was so cheap that I just could not let it pas by, want to see what 15 aperture blades can do, that is if I can somehow mount it on my Pentax.
So my questions are:
1: Do adapters exist for EXA-mount - PK-mount?
2: If not, are there solutions like the one described here before but suited for a heavier lens?

Thanks, understand now that even the 0,8mm extra gap will infuence the focusing. Had I used my head before i bought the ring I use now, I'd use a few extra bucks for one that will work on infinity.
So here I am buying an other one, sometimes using ones abilities to read are very usefull, should have used it before running nose first in the wall.
thanks guys for your help, much apreciated.
sorry for my lousy english

Got my hands on a 1:1.8/55 auto-takumar, use a PK adapter ring and started shooting.:D
while trying out it's capabillities I came over a problem, I can't get it to focus on distances of 10mtr/30ft. and beyond.
Shorter distances give perfect pictures. (at least when I do the right things):o
Am open for any suggestion since I'm stuck here.

Any sugestion would be appreciated.

Hi to you all,
greatings from a newbee, have had a few camera's before but was just fooling around. Started with Z-70 some years ago, bought it from a friend along with 2 lenses, an 18-55mm an 50-210mm and an 2x converter.
Finaly i 2007 I bought an 200D kept the other gear and was very happy with it. November last year disater struck some ashole broke in, stole the gear and as a bonus torched our place.
Since today I,m the proud owner of a K20D:):D, a 18-55 AL-WR lens, some distance rings. And no idea where to start.
Well, I'm off, will fiddle around with my new toy
