I've even heard that because of the simpler build- 70-200 4l without the stabilization is the sharpest one. I'm comparing canon T2i and pentax k-r at Canon T2i vs Pentax K-r . k-r obviously has better color depth, dynamic range, and image quality(how big a difference that would be in printed photos for exhibitions). However, in street photography and wildlife, fast AF is everything.

I had that lens a while ago and it was optically perfect at all range of zoom and aperture. Is there something similar for pentax. Sigma70-200 2,8 HSM II is good but for what I've raead - at 200mm(where I use it the most) crommatic abberation is a major problem, and isn't the sharpest of them all. So the canon one is selling for 750$ now- and I am seriously considering not switching to Pentax if I can't get a good telezoom lens for that money

So I'm going to visit my friend in NYC in October- Prices in the USA are 50% lower than in the EU so I went online at snapsort site compared a few cameras and for 600$ k-r kicks every nikons and canons ass
