Thanks everyone.
Simpleviewer is the closest to what I was hoping for, I'll give it a try.

I've played with Gallery a little bit, and Zen Photo a bit more... they are much more powerful than I'm currently looking for.
I'm not looking for a CMS so much as a simple script for a single page.

Please excuse if this is the wrong sub-forum for this question.
I am working on my personal website, and am looking for a simple way to do an image gallery.
Basically I want a non-flash page with scrolling thumbnails (I'll have about 2 dozen per page)which when clicked show the photo and maybe a couple lines of description.
My google-fu is failing me on this one, I've found a lot of stuff, but nothing that feels right. I'm sure given some time I could cobble it together in javascript, but it seems that what I want is so simple, someone must have done it already.
Any suggestions?

The K20D will be my second DSLR. 1st was a Sony A100 I received as a baby shower gift almost 3 years ago. Before that I had Sony point n' shoots.
When my A100 was stolen, I searched for a long time for the proper replacement.
I decided on the K20D (used on ebay) because it was the best combination of sensor size, image quality, build quality, manual controls, and affordable quality lenses in my price range. I could have afforded some other entry level DSLRs, but felt they were focusing more on bells and whistles.
Plus I have fond memories of my first "real" camera, a K1000 I bought to take slides of my paintings. I really wanted a digital version of that.

Recently had my Sony A100 stolen out of my car, and am waiting for UPS to deliver the K20D that will replace it.
Discovered this forum during my research on a replacement camera. Very excited to get it and participate here.
