Oh my... It seems my calibrated profile gives me B&W images that look more greenish than the default profile on the MBP... What do I do?

I bought a graphic tablet because I am just not able to be precise with my mouse in post processing in PS and LR but I am a bit desperate, the thing is so hard to use and I just do the wrong things... I was looking for a tutorial on how to use graphic tablets on youtube but there weren't any for newbies like me. Can anyone help? The thing's so confusing. The one I have is the Intuos 4.

Yeah I just don't understand why someone with a decent education commits crimes, ah, call me naive but the guy (even though I am right wing) says some quite interesting things and has ideas which I would see applied.

Now the maid, French TV said she was black and we also saw footage of the rest of her family, terribly ugly so I guess she must also be ugly.

Of course beauty is relative but honestly if I was a horny pervert I'd go to harlem and pay $20 bucks for a girl rather than raping a maid in a hotel full of people with cameras in the hallways and everything. And if he was smart he'd go far away from his hotel, rape someone with a condom and not without and then kill the person so they can't tell. (Do not misunderstand me, rape is wrong of course, I am just saying that I don't think DSK would have been that dumb).

Seriously I am convinced that it was consensual sex and he was later framed. I mean what kind of an idiot commits a crime and doesn't even try to hide the evidence? It's too easy.

Thanks :) Did I mess up during the calibration process? What I supposed to do something when it asked me these settings?

Okay I followed the advice of several Pentaxians here, so I plugged in my Spyder 3 Pro device, opened the program, selected laptop, then it asked me stuff and I am not sure whether I did this correctly, it let me choose some stuff like Gamma etc but I didn't know whether I was supposed to put my screen to these settings before starting the calibration or whether I was choosing the calibration of my screen so I left everything at default. I turned off the lights in the room, put the device on the screen and started the process. One shower later it was done and my screen was calibrated. However the difference is so very subtle that it was barely noticeable at first, is that normal? Should I have expected a huge change? Thanks guys.

My old tripod fell apart, literally. I need a new tripod and head for school next september, something preferably under 200 to 230 euros max. What do I need? Something that can with stand wind and rain, something tough, something that won't scratch the bottom of my camera. Any advice? How can I get the best bang for my buck?

Quite honestly I don't believe it. He is the most powerful frenchman after the President. Why would he seek power when he already has more than enough? And then having all those women file complaints now; isn't that a bit suspicious? To me it is; he was either framed or these women saw a profit in doing what they did. Anyone notice how terribly ugly all the women he 'raped' are? I don't think anyone would be crazy enough to rape them and even if it was about power as deadwolfbones says he'd have raped prettier women. The guy has taste after all he drives a Porsche Panamera, goes only to the best restaurants etc... It's the US press that makes him look bad in the papers because they hate 'rich people' and is very protective of afro-americans and muslims, I think in the US there is also a stronger feel of freedom of speech and so any reporter can unleash his furry on a sheet of paper and not be fired for it. When I went to the US I remember that in many places in New York people rather put 'Happy Holidays' instead of 'Merry Christmas as to not offend the muslim, atheist and jewish communities.

The US press hates him and makes him look like the devil incarnate. But in France he is more popular than the president or the church. Why is he a scumbag?

I think he is innocent, I mean seriously why rape the maid when he can have a woman for $20 in Harlem? Plus he is really rich, I mean if he wanted he could pay dozen escorts to take care of any pulsions or stress he may feel.

In my opinion he was becoming too big a threat since he was the favourite candidate for the presidential election in France but we won't discuss politics here.

Do you think he is innocent and was framed? Do you think he did it? Do you think the maid was an escort perhaps who saw an opening for profit? Maybe someone paid her to do it? What do you think? :hmm:

You can upgrade student editions, I know someone who did. But it's not a 'student upgrade' it's the regular upgrade pack that you'll have to buy when CS6 comes out.

I understand Mike. I am a very 'slow' person in that I spend a lot of time before making a decision. For instance, if I was married and we went to a store to choose paint for our wall and my wife said she wants cream coloured walls, even if I agreed I would take some time to think about it and say something like "Wouldn't [insert colour] be better if we consider [insert something]?". It's my personality.
