PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing Item for Sale
Wacom Intuos 4 pen tablet Asking Price
120.00 USD Item Location
Ohio (United States) Item Description
For sale is a Wacom Intuos 4 pen tablet (small version). This tablet functions perfectly, and is in pristine, like new, condition. It comes with everything just if you had bought it brand new, including the box, software, instructions, and all hardware/cables. The tablet has absolutely zero marks on it and the pen tips are all unused. Even the tip I had used for the very short time shows absolutely no wear. I bought this tablet 12 months ago and can honestly say I have used it for all of 4 hours at the very most. I thought I would like to use something like this for editing, but it never caught on for me. I kept going back to my mouse.

I just received a new Giottos lc244 light stand to start my adventure into off cam flash. My question for you Giottos lc244 owners is about the air cushioning affect of the individual sections on the light stand. This stand has 2 sections that allow it to extend to full height. The top section has what I would consider to be excellent air cushioning. When the stand is loaded with my flash and an umbrella and the top section is extended fully and I let go, it slowly descends at a rate something close to about 2" (+/- "1/2) per second and totally bottoming out in about 7 seconds. The bottom section, when fully extended and let go, bottoms out in about 1 second (+/- .5 seconds). This just does not seem correct or logical to me for the stand to function this way. Would anybody be so kind as to confirm if this is normal for their Lc244 stand to function this way? Thanks in advance :)
I should mention that after researching a bit I have found a video on youtube of a guy reviewing the Giottos stands and shows the air cushion effect, but unfortunately he only demonstrates this feature on the smaller of the 2 Giottos stands. When he demonstrates, from what I can tell, the stand does provide the air cushioning in all sections of the stand. This def has me thinking that the larger LC244 should be functioning the exact same way...See for yourself. What do you all think? Youtu.be |

Just for the record, darrenleow is spot on with his recommendation to use the Panasonic hood found on amazon as a great replacement for the heliopan. Honestly, this hood looks/feels to be well made, looks great on the lens, has a nice finish, well machined threads, and is just long enough to offer max protection and not interfere with the shot. Not to mention $8, shipped! So glad I found it. Anyone looking for a non plastic/rubber hood for their 31mm needs to look into this thing. If anybody would like a pic of the hood on my 31mm or to see a pic through the hood, let me know. Although the pic darrenleow supplied pretty much shows it all. Thanks darrenleow!:D

So interesting. You know it is a good pic if you find yourself looking at it for more than 60 seconds. Not for the sake of critiquing, but to just take in the goodness. Great job, sir.

Just wanted to pop in and say hello to everybody and say thank you for all the great help and info the members at pentax forums have provided over the last several months. I have been a lurker on these boards for a while now, soaking up all the pentax goodness I could expose my brain to, in preparation for my big step up into the dslr world. Just recently I was finally able to have taken that step, actually it was only moments ago..Yes, as I type, the battery to my new K5 is being charged and I am surrounded by cardboard, bubble wrap, and plastic bags. I cannot wait to start tinkering:D! I am really looking forward to learning and practicing with this amazing cam and finally getting to actually participate in these great forums. Also can't wait to submit to the monthly contest as well as the critique forum. Thanks again to all the great, helpful members on the pentax forums. Oh, and by the way, I live in Hinckley, Ohio, am mainly interested in shooting wildlife(specifically birds, and my not so wild shih tzu), landscapes/cityscapes, and am very excited to learn about/practice shooting macro and night cityscapes. Looking forward to chatting with all of you!
Ugh. I just reread this. Can you tell I am excited?:o
I have the feeling I am not getting to bed at a decent time tonight. I should have never opened that package this late. Damn you impatience!
