I finally got the updated app to work! For reference, I have a galaxy s9 w/android oreo. It worked when I went into wifi settings and connected to my k-1 prior to going into the app. Previously, I always connected in the app if it didn't automatically connect to the camera when it was launched. Hope this helps someone.

And by "got the updated app to work", I mean I got it to work once. I can't get it to connect again. Resuming head bashing now.

Camera is in Like New condition but is missing a couple of the original accessories. Shutter count is 4429. No visible scratches or dents and works perfectly. Both screens have protectors on them. I upgraded to a K-1 last year so I am selling my aps-c body and lenses.
Included: K-5 iis body, battery grip, 1 battery, charger, av cable, original box, manual, wrist strap
Not Included: original camera strap and one D ring for the camera strap

Congrats to you too, primo. So far, I am amazed at the difference. Low light performance is exceptional. Can't wait to get out and do some real damage tomorrow. My dog can only sit still for so long.
