Help: ISO speeds for MZ-5n

hey everyone,

I borrowed a pentax MZ-5n from my school and I'm not too familiar with the camera or film cameras in general. I was given a 400 ISO film speed and I'm not sure if I need to do anything to the camera to tell it what film speed is in it.

I was wondering if I needed to change the dial on the left of the camera that says
+3 +2 +1 0 -1 -2 -3 does that have anything to do with it?
