My 15-year-old son took our newly acquired K-r for a walk around the house, took some shots, and played with Photoshop. Pretty good!

Just purchased the K-r. Looking forward to many happy years with it.
My late-father had a Canon EOS, with various lenses, that was given to me.
It came with 3 lenses that I would like to use with my K-r if I can. They are: - Tamron SP AF 90mm F2.8 type (Model 72E [non-Di]) (55mm)
- Canon EF 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 USM lens (58mm)
- Canon EF 100-300mm f/4.5-5.6 USM lens (58mm)
Are there adapters that I may use to access these lenses?
Thanks for your help and guidance.
Tom
P.s. Note that I'm new to this whole SLR world, so keeping it simple for me would be appreciated.

Just purchased the Pentax K-R from BuyDig. Very excited. Have only shot with point-and-shoots and this is our first venture into SLR Land.
Any suggestions? Perhaps best beginners books for getting to know the camera and how to use it (f-stops, aperture, etc.). This is all new to me so could really use the help! Any resource out there (like books) that may focus or give specific info on Pentax's?
Anyway, greetings, and I look forward to gleaning all the nuggets of wisdom from this site!
