It's an option where the camera takes a photo when the subject comes into focus. I find it most useful when using a manual lens and where the subject is moving.
If you just search the forum, the first few hits should be how to use it. If all else fails just look at your manual.
To summarize whats written above:
1. Menu -> Custom 3 -> Item 20 "Catch in Focus" -> Toggle On.
2. Pop your camera to AF mode.
3. Switch your lens to MF mode if you have an AF/MF lens.
4. Switch your AF mode to AF-S.
5. Compose your photo where you predict your subject will be.
6. Press the button, hold and wait for the subject to come into the frame.
7. Camera fires when in focus.

Its made from fermented yeast extract. Looks and spreads like axle grease. I would its describe taste as having a transition of 2 or 3 flavours. Starts off sweet, then goes bitter then leaves this wacky after taste that you usually experience when eating pure chocolate, vintage/sharp cheese or the bean stuff you get on Mexican food.
If you've never tried it before, I would recommend this serving suggestion:
-Fresh sandwich, heavily buttered with slim spread of vegemite.
-Add some sliced tomato and shreaded cheese.
-Pepper
-Probably for the best if you got a strong drink on hand too just in case XD
