If you are okay with Manual Focusing,
Vivitar/Samnyang/Rokinon 85mm 1.4 offers great IQ for its price ($250USD-ish new).
I love that lens so much.

For Disneyland, I suggest you bring a super zoom that covers wide end to tele end.
50-135 is great, and I took that lens with me to Disneyland, but I found myself often changing the lens to Sigma 30mm, because I wanted a wider end to capture many things happening at once.
If you don't mind changing lenses, paring 50-135 with a wider angle lens of your choice would be optimal, but it's really bothersome and annoying to change lenses with so many people around and time spent changing meant time lost at the park.
Also, you can't always find a place to set your gear down for 'safe' changing, so I often found myself tucking lenses in my armpit whilst changing. It really isn't safe to do that with so many people around, because you never know when a person, probably an overly excited child bump into you and you can potentially drop your gear.
But the price/build quality, it's one of the best.
I got the lens before the price hike, and B&H was selling it for $850 brand new. I don't think it's worth the price Pentax is asking for ($1,600), but under $1,000? Maybe.

I just got my type s screen from focusing screen.
I had to use the thin shim with it, but the focusing is perfect with my sears 55mm 1.4
AF confirmation is a bit off, so I turned off the beep, and that allows me to focus manually without being distracted by the beeps.
And I gotta say, I am very impressed. Until now, I had been relying on AF and Katzeye focusing screen on my K20D, but I can see that this screen is a much better alternative without the distracting focus aides (split, microprism circles).
This is great and all that until f/2.8. Past that point, the viewfinder gets noticeably dark. 4.7-5.6 tele lenses are pretty much shooting in low light settings.I almost have to rely on AF to save my day in low light settings.

Nothing else has been put on the Helios 44-2 except for the genuine Pentax m42 adapter. It focuses pretty close at just just 45cm.

Another potential LBA in the making...
I'd listen to RicoRico's advice before it's too late.

First things first, I am 25 years old.
I never owned a dslr until last year, and I only dabbled here and there with an SLR in highschool.
I'm a photo enthusiast and pursued taking pictures to capture moments and people's portrait photos with my phone camera and cheap compact digital cameras.
Last year, my interest in photography has hiked to a serious level, and wanted to buy a DSLR so bad. Hence, I started doing research for the "best" camera.
I looked up Canon and Nikon, of course. Without much research, I would have gone with a cheap Canon Rebel series. But then I started doing more research and found Pentax.
I never knew Pentax made a DSLR because I thought Pentax have perished in the digital era. I never knew Pentax DSLR has been heavily shadowed by CanNikon.
But once I've looked up the images produced by camera candidates, Rebel xti vs. K-x, the choice was clear.
I don't think I'll ditch Pentax anytime soon.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but at 1.4, its images aren't very usable for a lot of things.
It's soft, fuzzy and not sharp at all.
But above 2.8, it's amazing (pretty good).
Anyways, auto-focus at "how Starbucks saved.." book on a tripod @1.4
