I may be missing the point here but if I wanted to shoot video I would purchase a video camera, or use my phone :) I'm happy if I get the images I want with the K-S2 which is what I purchased it for. :)

I wonder how many readers of this have neither a DA* lens ( I don't :( ) or an 18-135mm WR ( I do :) thanks to a "sale" of surplus kit lenses)

Yes, I visited a local club exhibition of photographs, all the photo's were taken using a Canon (various numbers) except one, which was a nikon D90, which I must admit was on my "short list" befoe going for a Pentax K7. I have join the local club and am the only member using a Pentax :cool:

Have upgraded from the old to a new K7 and have joined a local camera club, from what I have seen though the membership is 1 pentax user (me :D) 1 nikon D90 (I nearly bought one :o) and the rest Canon.

I have been given an old *ist DL2 so this is my introduction to digital photography.
My usual use for a camera is to take holiday snaps, and have no ambitions above that. From everything I have read if you are a dab hand with photoshop or the like it is possible to turn a sow's ear of a shot into a silk purse. Will see how I get on with this camera before contemplating upgrading to a newer model.
