Great shot! Just enough light to be ominous.

Great capture of both the clouds, and their reflection in the water. Lovely color and lighting.

Great texture and movement, almost liquid. Ominous feeling.

I’ve used Epson photo printers for years, and had no issues (other than printers going obsolete) with the prints I have made at home. I currently have a Stylus Photo R3000 (previous R1800) for “large” prints, and an expressions XP7100 aio for small prints. I get my inks for the r3000 from Epson, because I can’t find them locally. The R3000 does a great job on photo, matte, velvet fine art, and other papers if you download and install the profiles for each type you intend to use. I have several prints up that are over 10 yrs old, and they still look great, some framed, some bare paper.
For prints larger than 13x19” I use Costco Photo service. I have had a couple shots printed on aluminum (high gloss) at 20x30”, and they look great.
As a previous post mentioned, it is important (at least on a seldom used machine) to at least do a nozzle check print every so often to keep the print nozzles flowing.

They’re all awesome compositions, but #5 is just plain gorgeous!

Been shooting…forever… film, slides (love slides) and now digital, though I still have my SPII. I (like others in this thread) do not take images with competition in mind, and I do post ones I particularly like on my flickr page. As I see this discussion, I liken rendering saturation much like a cook coaxing “just the right flavor” out of a dish. Add just a pinch of spice, or two. Taste, repeat. This process can go on and on. Some like lots of salt, others…pepper. It’s a personal preference. Do what pleases *your* eye. Produce “art” that you like. Sometimes a little extra saturation helps an image, sometimes not.

I started out with a couple of borrowed 127 film cameras, then my own Agfa 35mm in the early 70’s. When a neighbor wanted to sell his Spotmatic ll with a couple of lenses, I jumped at the chance. I added a 28mm, then a 2x-3x multiplier, and I had all the flexibility I wanted. Then came an “all weather” 35mm Pentax compact. The Spotmatic was brutally durable, but it wasn’t rain tight (a necessity in the rainy PNW). First digital was an Olympus tough point and shoot. Pentax still produced my art, but the Oly went everywhere with me. Sand finally did it in. Now have a trusty K7, and a raft of lenses, a new(er) Oly-tough for backpacking and water sports (and of course a smartphone) so I never go anywhere without a camera.

Love the reflective symmetry of #10. But the beautiful starkness and contrast of #4 is wonderful. Winners all in my view!

All awesome shots, but I like #3, the peppers. Good lighting, bold color, and good capture of the reflection.

Couple of exposures stacked, Converted to BW. Shot at Shore Acres State Park, Oregon. Great storm wave shots, if you can time it right!
