After I read your post I searched for a silver Pentax K200D as well. I found one with the typical kit lens SMC DA 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 AL II and a Sigma 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 SLD for 129€ + 30€ PayPal and shipping fees to where I live. Once I am out of the clinic (mild stroke last Saturday), I will pick it up at the parcel station. Haven’t shot with a Pentax for quite a while. I had a K5iis until around 6 years ago. I regretted having changed to the Samsung NX1 system, as it is a dead system.

I don't own aK-01 but a Q1 and a K5-iis. I don't understand why they are not updating the K-01 series!?
When the K-01 was launched, I thought about buying one.

Hello Pentax Q users out there. Recently I've bough an Pentax Q kit with Lens 01 & 02
I'm really impressed by the quality of the pictures. The only thing I don't like is the quite strong barrel distortion both lenses have.
Software wise I'm working with aperture (Mac). What programs are you using? Who could help me with my problem getting rid of the distortion?

nette Wortspielerei ;-) Was für eine verwegene Konstruktion!! Ich glaube, dass muss ich mir auch mal alles zusammensparen.
Ich bin schon gespannt auf weitere Fotos. Auch von dem 50mm als 250er Makro!!
What a crazy construction!! I think I will have to buy this kind of gear as soon as I have enough money!
I'm already looking forward seeing more pictures. Please also some some that you haven taken with the 50mm as 250mm Macro!!

Wow, I'd love to try that too. I just bought a Pentax Q. So I think I will have to buy one of those adapters to use my Pentax lenses on my Pentax Q. Which one did you buy? Which company?

I´ve taken the picture of this great white egret during my vacations to florida.
It is one of my absolute favorites.
The color of the background is almost the same as the bird´s eyes.
He is absolutely beautiful.

I'm using a aperture on a mac. I don't own Photoshop. As I can see you sold your 170-500mm lens. Was it because of it's softness or because of it's size and weight?

I bought a used version of this lens. I'm using it on a Pentax K-5. above 370mm the pictures become quite soft. I haven't taken very much pictures with it yet. So maybe I need to practice a bit more.....

I think what Pentax should have first are really high class lenses as Canon offers them!! When you look at the tele lenses there is really a lack of lenses!! I had to buy a Sigma for wildlife photography.
