This guy was hanging out near the bird feeder. He must have seen something in a bush at the neighbors, because he took off and landed at a bush. He kept running around the bush and every so often he would stick his head into it. He eventually flew away.
I am thinking Sharp Shinned Hawk?

You guys understood exactly what i was asking. I guess I can just snap away and let the crime lab figure out how much to blow the pics up. I guess with a scale in the pic they can determine the proper sizing needed.

Greetings,
I just picked up a Sigma 70mm macro lens. Its very nice and I plan to use it for photographing evidence and crime scenes. I did not realize that when you focus at the 1:1 magnification it changes the ratio. Are there macro lenses that maintain the 1:1 magnification and still let you use the lens to focus(rather than moving the camera back and forth).
Also how can I print at the 1:1 magnification? In other words..if I take a 1:1 photo of a penny I would like the photo to be printed out at the same actual size of the penny.
While Im here..if I take a 1:3 photo can the item be printed out at 1:1 by increasing the image through the printer dialog boxes
Thanks

Greetings
I'm running a K20 and like it alot so far..I mostly use it for crime scene documentation..and casual home use. i currently have the Vivitar 285HV flash for digital cameras. I sense that a metz flash maybe in my future.
I just purchased a Sigma 70mm macro for mostly evidence collection and forensic work at 1:1. I didnt realize that when you focus at 1:1 you change the magnification ratio..oh well nice glass anyway. The problem I am having is trying to print a 1:1 photo. In other words..If i take a pic of something that is 5 inches long at 1:1, io would like it to print out at 5 inches.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Chip
