I've been using Enneloops on my K-r for some time now and have noticed 3 things- many more exposures compared to the lithium battery, maybe 2-3 times as many, but also slower shutter firing, particularly as I usually bracket in 3's and slightly slower af too.

I've applied it don't see anything radical yet apart from the gps settings, but it went on ok. I will have to see if there are noticeable differences in time, but as I mostly use MF lenses in Daylight it would be hard for me to comment on the FF issue- as yet it hasn't been a problem for me

I have a ton of AA's too -I have children!- Not sure about numbers of shots but I found the AA's would last about 2-3 days and the Li-ion was lucky to last 1.

Have to agree there- I find AA's are better, plus I bought one of your adapters (hawk1500) off ebay and its excellent- I tend to use it all the time and carry the lithium battery as a back up. At the very least its an added bit of flexibility

Me too -works fine and I tend to leave mine set at f8 in av mode for shooting pics of small birds and focus it manually. No problems from 55-300mm either with the indicator.
