Is it just me? I'm trying to transfer RAW images directly to the computer. They will go to the camera but not the computer. JPEG goes to both. My reading of theUser Guide seems to indicate that if you choose the (RAW) File Format to Transfer box to should transfer. Has anyone been able to transfer RAW files to the computer.:hmm:

I know it is a silly little setting just waiting to be changed but I can't seem to find it ---------- Post added 12-05-15 at 07:14 PM ----------
Got it! With the date adjustment screen visible, I had to push [Settings Complete and then it all worked.

I have searched this topic without success for my situation. When I choose the drive mode button in either still or movie mode the interval shooting option is grayed out. I have tried making various setting changes without success . This has happened before and I have found a solution but this time the solution alludes me, HELP.:(

Hi
Just got a 645Z and I am experiencing something weird with the SD cards. When I put in a new or old SD card, format it, and take a shot I get the message: "No card in camera" The camera does write to the card and will show previews. The same thing happens in either slot and with any card. If I put a card in both slots, I don't get the message. I don't remember that ever happening with the 645D. Has anyone had this happen. Should I worry...Im leaving for trip and will not have any time to send in for repair.

Hi
I have a 645D and I use a Pentax wired control. The plug looks a little like a mini RCA jack. It works fine without any changes or modifications. My remote does not have a part number but I think it is a Pentax Cable Switch 205 (Cable Release) - 1.6' (50cm) as sold by B and H Photo.

Thanks, I guess I have a lot to learn about all this. I will be giving a lot more thought to a radio setup. I started all this with assumption that P-TTL was the most advanced flash metering method Pentax had to offer. Now I know I have to investigate all the manual alternative.

I guess that would be step 1. What about full control (P-TTL). Does anyone make a advansed trigger? I wish Pentax would make one for the Pentax flashes. I really don't need a radio trigger. But most of those will not be full P-TTL will they?

I understand that you can use a flash as the trigger. I was hoping that there is a small IR trigger that fits on the hot shoe and will work with Pentax flashes.

HI
Since these cameras (645D and 645Z) do not have a built in flash what is the simplest and best way to trigger the pentax flashes that use IR wireless?

Does anyone know if the 645z will support the very fast SDXC cards rated UHS-II? The published specs on the camera only mention UHS-I . You would think that a sensor as large as 50 megs would benifit from the fastest cards available. This was taken from the San Disk site:
SanDisk Extreme PRO® SDHC™/SDXC™ UHS-II Memory Card
Available capacities: 16GB, 32GB, 64GB**
Performance/speed: Up to 280MB/s** read, Up to 250MB/s** write; U3 video recording speed**

After many e-mails back and forth with the dealer, they admitted that the plate was difficult to put on. They offered to give me a $25.00 rebate. I decided to eat the postage and send it back. I am still waiting for the part to arrive and hopefully receive my refund.

I think you are right. But what bothers me is the fact that the 35mm mark was covered in red ink. I sent them the photo as per their request and I am waiting for their response.

I think your correct. The adapter they sent me was intended for the APS-C Pentax bodies. But are there adapters made as described for Pentax 645? if so has anyone used one? Do they work? I have sent the seller a picture showing the 35mm mount marking on the adapter they sold me. But I still wonder if the right one is out there.

Hi
I just received a
645 D Moveable Adapter Plate for 4 x 5 Large Format Cameras from E-bay. I opened the package and it looked pretty good, clean and well made. The only problem is it won't fit on my 645D. The box says 645. On the edge of the piece it says: FOR 35mm MOUNT." It seems to fit ...but will not lock into place. Has anyone had this experience. Could I be putting in on wrong? I have open a case on E-bay. Any advice.
Thanks

HI
This may be a silly question but... Which eye do most people use to view the viewfinder on a 645D? I lost my large cup and just had one delivered. I wear glasses and after I put the new cap on I started thinking about which eye workes best. I often find my self pushing my eyeglasses up out of the way when focusing. How about others?
Thanks
