I'd rather go with Schraubstock on this one. I think your processing is overdone and feels unrealisitic, especially the sky. If you compare the processed picture to an ooc picture with grad filters on a dramtic sky with light from the golden hour, the processed picture will always lose by far in my opinion. If you wanna play the food analogy, the processed picture is mcdonalds and the natural picture in beautiful conditions is healthy homegrown organic food spiced that you can still spice as much as you like. It takes more effort but you enjoy it a lot more. I guess it's a matter of principles, but I'd feel like I would be faking it. But in the end, you have to like it yourself.
The b/w version is pretty cool, though.

Hi there, since there are so many great pictures from these old lenses I would like to share as well. The 30mm was the first lens I got for my K7 and I've added a few other K and M lenses in the meantime, but it's still my favourite. Nuts von libr0 auf Flickr

Brilliant location. all you need is a grad filter to get contrast in the sky and it's ready for the hall of fame!

Thanks for the kind words. I only got my 15 mm a few weeks ago but I got one more shot worth showing. Well I hope it is. |

I have owned my K7 for a few months now and I am trying to push my skills with some old manual primes since then. Been reading here for a long time and finally decided to join in.
