The K-x is stellar in terms of High ISO quality, you may not need it but its there and the images are fantastic. The K-x won't limit you but enable you as a photographer. Cheers.

I have owned both, to me the K-x is hands down a better user camera. Small, compact, better wb, iso performance 2nd to none, you would miss your little k-x. Good luck!

Yes, the *ist D does do a good job on image quality plus I like the fact that they can take compact flash cards and it has a pc socket for external flash. This is a really nice camera.

I also own both and while the K10's body construction is superior to that of the K-x, the K-x is a much better camera in so many ways. One of those ways that hasn't been mentioned is the auto white balance in the K-x is superior to that of the K10 and then you have the High ISO performance of the K-x that is superior to just about anything out there. The K-x is a camera that you will help you learn the art of photography easier than the K10 (which is a great camera). Good luck!

Yes, the *ist D is a really lovely camera and this particular one for sale here is an exceptional example. Just have too many cameras....Enjoy your K-7, I just purchased a K-x and think it's quite revolutionary. Pentax moving forward!

Have for sale a Nice Pentax *ist D 6.3 megapixel camera. Camera is in perfect working condition. Only the camera body is included in the sale (attached lens in picture is NOT included). Buy you a K-X and then you'll have you a baby D700, that camera is amazing ISO 3200 ISO 1600 leave your flash at home! Good luck!
