The Norrköping City Hall in Sweden sports a tower that signifies the power of the City Council as well as the court functions that were housed in the same building. Here depicted by a Pentax K-1 and a 28mm Pentax Shift Lens.

Preventing M42 adapter light leaks and dust ingress - an easy solution!

As seen above, I made an epoxy fillet to increase the diameter of the m42 mount. I used a polythene plastic template (i d 42 mm, o d 52 mm) held in place by the adapter. I happened to have some chalk powder at home and used that as a filler in the epoxy.

Later I found that I had to trim away a little thickness to get infinity at the hard stop.

I am actually unimpressed. I find few signs of personalities here, just exteriors of young/fresh or old/wrinkled people. Good portraits get the viewer close to the subject´s personality. For me, #7 fits that bill best.

A lens for special purposes. Mine is for the APS format.

It is invaluable for rainbows, haloes and other ultra-wide sights. A double rainbow (102 degrees in diameter) fits comfortably in the APS format. It shows off-center round shapes with less deformations than other ultra-wide lenses. Off-center straight lines are bent and so need special care when composing a picture.

It is good for interior shots in cramped spaces and occasionally for special effects.

The new version of this lens can be used on a FF camera like the Pentax K1.
