Has anyone screwed their camera up trying this hack yet? Is there a decent chance that it could backfire or am I being kinda paranoid. Obviously theres always some risk involved but i dot want my beloved K-5 to become a paperweight due to incompetence on my part.

Where I live there are no pentax stores and no one will ship their cameras here. I am going to go on a trip to japan though and was thinking of buying the camera while I was there. Anyone know how much it will cost in Japan (¥)

The photo depicts two american bald eagles on the shores of Ketchikan Island in Alaska fighting over a piece of salmon. The image was captured with the K-5 and DA 55-300.
The prowess and action of the bald eagles show the raw power of nature. But the fact that even creatures as majestic as the Bald Eagle are in a daily fight to live show natures fragility
I feel like I deserve the lens because as a teenager in a family that doesnt have too much money, my photography budget is nearly nonexistent. Unlike others, I can not buy my own goods. Even if I decide to earn my own money my parents wont let me spend it. Also, I am still growing as a photographer have the most growth potential. Also This lens would give me something lacking in my set that is truly nessesary: a wide angle lens. as weird as it may sound, the only lens I have at the moment is the DA 55-300 (although that may change come christmas :D)
Hope I dont sound too self centered but thats what this contest is all about right?

I find that trying to find lenses on the martk=place to be really hard at times and hard to compare prices. I think sorting it out into categories would be better/easier. For example there should be a page for each lens and people post there items under each page
