You bet. The 12mm worked pretty well with the few tests that I did. It is almost equal to my human cone of vision which is impressive. Also, as advertised it doesn't distort much.

Doesn't seem like used DA lenses are selling very well. I would like to get rid of the ones I was using with the K-5. I think that I have a 35mm f2.4, 18-55mm, and a 55-300mm. None of them are super great but they would be good for a budget photographer. Any advice on selling? I could donate them to a thrift store if no one would want them on PF.

I just traded my K-5 for a K1II myself. Also picked up 4 new lenses per my signature. Super pumped. The 12mm Laowa is a really cool lens. Can't wait to go out shooting. Maybe this weekend.

I mostly play jazz and blues. I finish and assemble my own solid bodies out of parts from Warmoth, Musikraft and USACG. I currently have:

1) Hardtail Strat with an alder body, roasted maple neck, and Lace Holy Grail pickups
2) Tele with a chambered swamp ash body, maple/ebony neck, and a single Fralin P-92 in the neck position
3) Jazzmaster 12 string with an alder body, maple neck, and two Rose Picasso humbuckers
4) Godin AAA flamed maple floating humbucker hollow archtop Jazz model (I just got this via Amazon/Godin for $931. It retails for over $2200. I couldn't pass it up. I guess that they were clearing stock. It is super nice IMHO.)
5) Peerless Monarch 16" natural finish all solid maple 16" hollow body archtop
6) Hagstrom HJ-800 16" hollow body archtop
7) Martin SP-000CW acoustic with solid spruce top and solid rosewood back and sides
8) Martin nylon string acoustic with solid spruce top and solid sapele back and sides
9) Tanglewood parlor size acoustic with solid mahogany top and back
10) 12 string Danelectro

Looking to get rid of either the Peerless or the Hagstrom, and the Danelectro. Then besides slight mods to my solid bodies, I am through with GAS for a while.

My guess is that the people caught up in using these cliches can't write very well. In my business email communications are a record of product delivery. If they are riddled with cliches of dubious understanding they become fodder for possible litigation. If conversations include these types of cliches then that mentality will likely filter into the written documentation. We have to avoid it. This is not to say that we don't have informalities in our conversations, but critical aspects need to be completely understood. Cliches don't really help.

Two weeks notice starts today for the grunter. But I heard that he might come in to consult for a while afterward. I am fearing the worst. He may fail on his own and comeback full time some day. I started biting my nails.

Probably the two biggest disappointments for NFL'ers based on heritage definitely would be the Cowdumps and the Whiners.

I know the feeling with the 40-whiners moving to Santa Clara. Not nearly as far as LA, but there are a lot of San Franciscans that feel betrayed. There were numerous plans to build a stadium within the City and the spoiled kid owner continued to reject them. Now he has team full of thugs that will be lucky to finish 500, and fans that can enjoy $150 meals in AC while they lose. I have scheduled my daughter's piano lessons for Sunday afternoons this fall. Won't be missing the NFL at all.

Maybe it was me sending vibes his way, but he told me this morning that he has decided to leave and start his own practice. I am the only person that he has told thus far, so my fingers are crossed that he follows through. Actually I like him a lot and will miss him. I will probably send some work his way in the future. I won't miss his annoying habit of continuous grunting and coughing though.

That sounds a little grade-schoolish. However, I would pay a doctor to get this guy to stop grunting all day long.

I am sure that I would be the only complainant. If it weren't for me the whole office would only listen to Taylor Swift and Beyonce repeatedly every day all the time on the office-wide sound system. It is odd that I work in a profession that is supposed to create pleasing environments, yet the people that I work with don't care about the environment around themselves for 10-12 hours every day. I don't know what causes mental illness in old age, but I can guess that subjecting yourself to repeated grunts or bad music wouldn't help.

I hate wearing headphones at work because a lot of people are dependent on my interaction. Unfortunately I have no choice.

Oh, and as far as government jobs and the lack of accountability goes, I can only relate one story. I have a friend that was hired, but not cleared to work for the federal government. It took him 6-9 months to be cleared. He got paid to sit in a room and read books of his own choosing during that time.

We had an office wide two hour meeting today 5 feet away from his desk. He didn't do the throat clearing once. He was on the phone this afternoon several times for quite long periods. He didn't do the throat clearing once. He is sitting at his desk looking at his screen right now. Every twenty seconds he clears his throat. (More like ten, uggg.) He is annoying me to no end. Headphones set to the max for me. Some people blink their eyes. He grunts. Too bad they aren't that comparable if both involuntary.

BTW, I don't think that he is embarrassed. He is oblivious.

Funny thing. Just came back from a company picnic and the guy didn't honk, weeze, cackle, or whatever you want to call it, once. Come to think of it, any time I have been around him when he isn't sitting at his desk he doesn't do it. Maybe it is related to him sitting still? I want to have more sympathy for him but that doesn't seem possible.

For me, there is a guy that clears his throat every 10-20 seconds. It has been driving me crazy for years. He must be aware that it is annoying to others as well, but we have never talked about it. I feel like dumping a load of throat lozenges on his desk and telling him that if he can't control it he should use them. Uggg!

You might want to try Fiat Tech. It can be a bit bombastic, but good tech info. Good luck. I think these are great cars. A lot of fun and easy to mod.

My dad had a dark blue metallic one with a white vinyl roof. I think that it had a blue plush interior. He ordered it from the factory and it was propably the same model year as the one in your pic. Pretty sweet once he got the carb jets sorted.
